Highlights of FY98-99 Revenue Report on Nevada Casinos

Thursday's figures from the state Gaming Control Board, listing the win for fiscal 1998-99 and for the month of June, 1999:
-STATEWIDE: $8.5 billion win in fiscal 1998-99, up 7.9 percent. In June, clubs won $692.4 million, up 11 percent.
-LAS VEGAS STRIP: $4.1 billion fiscal-year win, up 9.6 percent. The June win was $322.4 million, up 15.6 percent.
-DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS: $668.9 million fiscal-year win, down 2.3 percent. The June win for the downtown clubs was $49.6 million, down 8.1 percent.
-NORTH LAS VEGAS: $203.6 million fiscal-year win, up 14.7 percent. The June win was $18.8 million, up 16.7 percent.
-BOULDER STRIP: $536.2 million, up 12.7 percent. The June win was $48.2 million, up 17.9 percent.
-MESQUITE: $87.4 million, up 13.8 percent. The June win was $7.3 million, up 11.3 percent.
-LAUGHLIN: $510.5 million fiscal-year win, up 5.5 percent. In June, the casinos took in $41.3 million, up 10.4 percent.
-RENO: $783.3 million fiscal-year win, up 2.4 percent. The June win was $69.3 million, up 2.3 percent.
-SPARKS: $157.5 million fiscal-year win, up 4.6 percent. The June win was $13.4 million, up 3 percent.
-NORTH TAHOE: $40.6 million fiscal-year win, up 6.4 percent. The June win was $3.1 million, down 8.9 percent.
-STATELINE: $326.7 million fiscal-year win, up 12.4 percent. In June, the win was $30.1 million, up 30.8 percent.
- ELKO: $212.9 million fiscal-year win, up 7.5 percent. In June, the clubs took in $17.5 million for a 1.3 percent increase.
- CARSON-GARDNERVILLE-MINDEN: $84.7 million fiscal-year win, up 10.8 percent. In June, the win was $7.6 million for an 7.2 percent increase.
- CHURCHILL: $14.3 million fiscal-year win, up 7.7 percent. In June, the win was $1.2 million, up 4 percent.
- HUMBOLDT: $16.6 million fiscal-year win, down 2.3 percent. In June, the win was $1.5 million, up 0.7 percent.
- WHITE PINE: $4.8 million fiscal-year win, up 10.8 percent. In June, the win was $415,000, up 5.3 percent.
