Prized Friend - 1st time starter by River Special, solid worktab with most recent move 2nd best of 27 works at 6 panels from the gate on 7/31 over this track, gets first time lasix, Nakatani/Dollace/Golden Eagle Farm seaside combo. Little Memin - Made debut sprinting on Hollypark lawn in last, caught in close quarters while close 4th from inside post, now draws outside on the dirt, Solis stays on Trevino trainee, should benefit from race experience here. Value Play -- McCordnskuba
2ND RACE:
Reel Wild - 3-wide, loomed up and weakened to 4th while claimed by trainer Canani in last, capable of early foot for this short sprint, draws good post, takes drop off the claim, hustling Pedroza takes over, money run for connections. Ambusher - Dueled lead from inside and faded against tougher claimers in last, stalked pace before weakening at over twice this price before that, drops to realistic spot for first time since maiden breaker four races back, beware. Value Play -- Zoras'kite
3RD RACE:
Color My Heart - Dueled lead 3-wide from outside post before weakening to 4th sprinting on Hollypark lawn in last, dueled lead from inside post and runner up at this trip before that, 3rd in prior pair of career outings, graduation time. Brian's Blackpearl - 1st time starter by Farma Way, swift solid works that include three consecutive bullet Anita drills in April & May, good most recent gate drill over this track on 7/29, good post, could be ready at first asking. Value Play -- Four Plus Four
4TH RACE:
Mazel Trick - Comes off monster victory in Grade II Hollypark stakes at 7-panels in comeback effort in last, won prior pair of outings before layoff, 1-for-1 at this distance, 3-for-3 on fast dirt tracks, McCarron again for Frankel, one to beat. Budroyale - Gutty gelding keeps laying it out on the line, runner-up to Real Quiet in Grade I Hollywood Gold Cup in last, in the quinella 8 of most recent 9 starts with a trio of victories, certain to be in the thick of it throughout. Value Play -- River Keen
5TH RACE:
Seven Jillion - 1st time starter by French Deputy, steady worktab, last four drills over this track dating back to 7/18, gets first time lasix, needs prompt start from outside post, father was a runner. Thrilling Prospect - 1st time starter by Carson City, has only four recorded works for debut, most recent pair are Del Mar drills, McCarron sees enough to take the first time call for trainer Sahadi, respect connections. Value Play -- Rapid Access
6TH RACE:
Tart - Even 3rd over this course in last, runner-up on Hollypark lawn before that, won at a mile on same four races back, stays at competitive level and McCarron also returns, good post, we'll give another chance to get the money here. Doucette - 3-wide move and just got up to win by a head on Hollypark lawn at lower level in last, 4th in comeback outing at this price three races back, has won back-to-back before, Nakatani stays for repeat try. Value Play -- Allegedly Yours
7TH RACE:
Jason's Rib - Split foes and game 3rd as the favorite sprinting from rail post while claimed in last, outrun in allowance conditions in prior pair of outings since comeback, drops off the claim, well spotted for the money run in this. Copelan's Eagle - Dueled lead and cleared to win at lower level over this track while claimed for the third consecutive time in last, in the quinella 11 of 20 starts at this distance with 7 of 11 career victories, steps up for new trainer Mitchell, speedster draws rail for repeat try. Value Play -- Testimony
8TH RACE:
Chilukki - First-year filly comes to seaside with impressive unbeaten record of three monster career victories at Churchill Downs this spring, beat the boys in second start, one to beat if she doesn't need bluegrass track for best. She's Classy - She is, broke maiden at first asking with game win then returned to finish 2nd in Grade II Landaluce stakes at Hollypark to filly that went on to repeat a stakes victory at Saratoga, if top one falters this one gets Classy victory. Value Play -- November Slew
9TH RACE:
Devil's Tower - Stalked, made bid and outfinished when close runner-up first time routing on turf in last, bred to love lawn, draws good post, should get good stalking trip again, McCarron stays on McAnally trainee, Devil diploma here. Precise - Made wide late run for a closing 4th sprinting last year at Del Mar in only start of career, steady works for comeback here, moved to Canani barn since raced, now stretches out on turf and bred to love surface, respect connections, beware. Value Play -- Affirmed Spring
10TH RACE:
Been to the Desert - 3-wide move after breaking from rail post when 4th sprinting on turf at Hollypark off four-month layoff in last, in the quinella half of prior 10 lifetime starts with a pair of victories, Solis stays for cold trainer, but maybe this can warm him up. K Sera - Stalked 4-wide then rallied to just miss while 2nd by a nose in needed race in last, won only start at this distance in starter-allowance outing three races back, pair of nice Del Mar works since raced, Nakatani takes over. Value Play -- Noble Covenant
