Alternative 1
-Provides 110 total acres of federal land for development.

-Gives 10 acres to the park and forest service for housing.
Alternative 2
-Provides 270 total acres for Canyon Forest Village.
-Allows space for 1,270 hotel rooms and 270,000 square feet of retail space - enough for four large department stores.
-Leases 20 acres to house people working at Grand Canyon National Park.
-Makes 50 housing units available for residents of the surrounding area.
-Creates INSIGHT, an informational center designed to educate visitors about the Colorado Plateau.
-Allocates 1 percent of gross business revenues to finance the Kaibab Institute, an independent body that makes sure leaders use only the resources they were originally provided.
