1ST RACE:
Felon - Rolled from last-to-first to win on Hollypark lawn while claimed in last, 3rd at same in comeback effort before that, in the quinella 7 of 19 starts at this distance on turf with 5 of 7 lifetime victories, has repeated victories before. Butler On Duty - Rallied late for 3rd in state-bred grass stakes on Hollypark lawn in last, horse-for-course is 2-for-2 on Del Mar sod, Eddie D. scheduled to return here, Butler could serve up another Del Mar turf win here. Value Play -- Search Me
2ND RACE:
Afraidofrain - 3-wide duel for the lead and weakened to 3rd in last, 3-wide distant debut 3rd before that, now drops to claimer off decent straight maiden runs, McCarron stays on Sise trainee, not afraid of graduation here. Some Fast Mama - Even debut 4th in last, drops to claimer now, had decent works before debut start, gets good post, had race, Gomez takes over for this, should be tough with these, Mama may be fast enough here. Value Play -- Crescent Of Naskra
3RD RACE:
Corwun - Managed 5-wide move off rail post while 3rd in last, 3rd in prior pair of outings as well, won on-the-pace for half this price four races back, stretches out now, bullet Del Mar work since raced, good spot for action. Lago - Outrun from outside post on turf in last, claimed for twice this price while distant 5th before that, in the quinella 12 of 33 lifetime starts with a trio of victories, drops again in class, Pincay now on Carava trainee, money run? Value Play -- Karyn's Bounty
4TH RACE:
Securitized Debt - Stalked early then traffic trouble while 5th splitting the field off 11-month layoff in last, 4th before that and crowed in debut three races back---both at Del Mar, pair of nice works over the track since race, beware. Shoe Crazy - No late bid when debut 4th in last, nice Del Mar drill since, gets first time lasix now, Solis returns on Dominguez trainee, must overcome outside post, beaten favorite in debut may make ammends with lasix here. Value Play -- Cute Caper
5TH RACE:
Final Attempt - Broke through the starting gate and finished last in last, won maiden-claimer at higher level three races back, steady works since raced, drops to fire-sale level now, Flores takes over on hidden-entry Sadler trainee, beware. Ask Crafty - Dueled lead and held to win while claimed in last, caught late when 2nd before that, in the quinella half of 8 lifetime starts with a trio of victories, Gomez returns on "other" Sadler trainee, a factor throughout. Value Play -- Waypoint
6TH RACE: Walk That Walk - Distant 3rd in Grade I Swaps stakes at Hollypark in last, runner-up on lawn in prior pair of outings, draws good rail post here, back at competitive level now, reunites with Flores, should Walk away with win here. Wild N Golden - Moves through conditions undefeated, broke maiden while claimed at Anita four races back, won starter allowance at Hollypark three races back, won pair of grass routes in last pair of outings, Puglisi/Canani team. Value Play -- J. R. Holmes
7TH RACE:
Rayelle - Promising filly returns to races, 5th in Grade I Santa Anita Oaks mid-March in last, runner-up in Grade II before that, won first three career starts, 2-for-2 at Del Mar, gets first time lasix for comeback, Nakatani/Mandella combo. Kalookan Queen - Dueled lead and second best in needed outing in last, set pace and game 3rd before that, another who won first three career starts, pair of bullet Del Mar drills since raced, scratched from earlier spot for this. Value Play -- Superlative
8TH RACE: Laughinanadrinkin - Made bid, led then held 3rd in first route try in last, 4-wide 3rd before that, dueled lead and just missed when game 2nd by a head three races back, Flores/Baffert team, may drink to graduation here. Honest Scout - Stalked pace and weakened first time routing when 5th in last, slow awkward start in debut before that, gets first-time lasix now, pair of nice Del Mar works since raced, must overcome outside post, Solis takes over. Value Play -- Viva La France
