Edith Cannizzaro
Edith Cannizzaro, 87, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local convalescent hospital. She was born Feb. 23, 1912, in Italy. A resident for 55 years, she was an interior decorator and a member of Daughters of the Nile.
She is survived by her husband, Phil; and two sisters, Betty Beehler and Connie Covello, both of Las Vegas.
Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to Shriners Children's Hospital, Zelzah Shrine Temple, 2222 W. Mesquite Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89106.
Michael Jones
Michael Jones, 46, of North Las Vegas died Saturday. He was born April 16, 1953, in Pelahatchie, Miss. A resident for 36 years, he was a disposal company thrower.
He is survived by two daughters, Latisha Kennedy and Monique Kennedy, and two sons, Antoine Watts and Michael Jones Jr., all of Las Vegas; his mother, Monta Jones, and one sister, Geraldine Johnson, both of North Las Vegas; and three brothers, William Jones Jr., and Curtis Jones Sr., and Joe R. Jones, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation will be 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Victory Baptist Church, 500 W. Monroe Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Pauline M. Kopacz
Pauline M. Kopacz, 81, of Las Vegas died June 26 in Las Vegas. She was born May 8, 1918, in New Jersey. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10047 Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by one stepdaughter, Barbara Kopacz of New Jersey.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Helen Elizabeth Page
Helen Elizabeth Page, 85, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 28, 1913, in Chatupa, Kan. A resident for 66 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Shirlee A. Helton and Sally J. Rachiell, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Norman R. Meriweather of Miller, S.D.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., handled private arrangements.
Enid R. Parish
Enid R. Parish, 94, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 27, 1905, in Catalina Island, Calif. A resident for 10 years, she was a fashion designer in the film industry.
She is survived by one grandson, Cary Casey of Las Vegas; and numerous other relatives.
Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Madeline Rose Patton
Madeline Rose Patton, 2, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born June 21, 1997, in Las Vegas.
She is survived by her parents, Anthony and Mayla Patton, and one brother, Nathaniel Patton, all of Las Vegas; and her grandparents, Tom and Valerie West of Oklahoma City, Ramona Gibbs of Las Vegas and Richard and Bea Gibbs of Pahrump.
Visitation will be one hour prior to 3 p.m. services Thursday in the Hollywood and Kell LDS Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.
Emilia H. Puga
Emilia H. Puga, 85, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 5, 1914, in Mexico. A resident for seven years, she was a retired homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Edmundo Puga, and one daughter, Lucille Rhodes, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Josey Mendoza of Tucson, Ariz.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Michael Rod
Michael Rod, 56, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 29, 1943, in New York City. A resident for three years, he was a martial arts instructor and a member of Phoenix Holistic Foundation.
He is survived by his wife, Donna J.; one son, David F. Rod of Las Vegas; two daughters, Rachel A. Rod of Washington, D.C.; his mother, Miriam R. Rod, and one brother, Jonathan Rod, both of Las Vegas; and one sister, Susan Graham of Seattle.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Helen M. Romanowski
Helen M. Romanowski, 90, of Las Vegas died July 26 in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 24, 1909, in Minneapolis. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, John D.; one daughter, Marlene Babcock of Crystal, Minn.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Tamara Leigh Thiros
Tamara Leigh Thiros, 53, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born April 17, 1946, in Arco, Idaho. A lifelong resident, she was a medical transcriber.
She is survived by one daughter, Marlo Cole, and her parents, Gus and Virginia Thiros, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Toni McGee of Charlo, Mont.; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to Safe Nest Women's Shelter, P.O. Box 43264, Las Vegas, NV 89116.
Walker H. Thomas
Walker H. Thomas, 71, of Boulder City died Monday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 7, 1927, in Mayfield, Ky. A resident for 12 1/2 years, he was a retired engineer for a business machine company and a Korean War Army veteran.
Visitation will continue until 5 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Entombent will be in Palm Mausoleum, Boulder City.
