The homeowner's association of a Las Vegas condominium development sued Robert V. Jones Corp., claiming the condominiums are plagued with widespread defects.
Echo Glenn Homeowners Association represents the owners of the 64 condominiums in Echo Glenn Condominiums, 6480 Annie Oakley Drive.
Echo Glenn was built in the winter of 1995-96. The plaintiffs claim the condominiums contain pervasive defects.
Some homeowners are seeking separate damages for illness caused by prolonged exposure to mold.
Jim Pengilly, an attorney for Robert Jones, denied the charges.
"No one knows until we do any tests ... whether or not there's any validity to (the complaints)," Pengilly said. He added that the association hadn't done any substantive tests to back up its claims.
