Bassett Furniture Direct announced plans to open a Las Vegas store this fall on Sahara Avenue just west of Rainbow Boulevard.
This is the first store in the West for Bassett, which is considering building additional stores in Henderson, other undisclosed Nevada locations and Denver.
Bassett, based in Houston, said its first Las Vegas store will be 26,250 square feet on 2 acres.
Bassett Furniture Direct is an exclusive Bassett home furnishings specialty store featuring all of the Bassett lines plus accessories, rugs, linens and window treatments.
