Editorial: Right decision on Venetian sidewalk

There were compelling and competing interests in this case of property rights vs. free speech rights. But as Pro noted, because the Venetian's private sidewalk links public sidewalks on both sides of the resort's property, pedestrians who want to walk past the property have no choice other than to walk on the Venetian's sidewalk. It is this extraordinary circumstance that required Pro to rule in favor of the union's right to protest in front of the Venetian.
