UNLV catcher Harold Betts was named Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week after hitting .667 in two games againstTexas Christian. Betts went 3-for-5 and scored 3 runs Friday and on Sunday he was 3-for-4 with 2 doubles, atriple, 2 runs and 2 RBIs.
