Letter: Bomb-crazed U.S. needs spiritual lift
Tuesday, April 27, 1999 | 11:49 a.m.
It's such a shame we have a violent country and think we can solve things by bombing. No matter how many times President Clinton tries to justify the situation in Yugoslavia, there is no reason we should be involved in that country's business. We've really made a huge mistake, and I, too, hope the outcome will be a good one.
It seems the people there are worse off now than when we got involved. The president or his Cabinet know nothing about the military.
The president is speaking about the horrible tragedy in Colorado, yet we have bombs going to people in another land! We have a bomb-crazy country -- Unabomber; Waco, Texas; Oklahoma City; Atlanta; abortion clinics, etc.
If we call on God, He will heal our land. Put prayer back into schools. Listen to your children and get involved.
