LV company part of acquisition

RCR Cos.-Las Vegas, a plumbing, heating and air conditioning subcontractor for the construction industry in Southern Nevada, is one of nine companies purchased by American Plumbing and Mechanical Inc.
AMPAM announced the completion of the acquisitions last week. Terms weren't disclosed.
AMPAM bought companies spread throughout the United States, including Riverside, Calif.-based RCR Cos., founded in 1977.
One of RCR's divisions is in Las Vegas, where the business has been in operation five years and has about 270 employees.
The nine companies acquired by AMPAM had annualized revenues in 1998 of more than $320 million.
