Annual Poker World Series begins

The tournament at Binion's Horseshoe Club began Monday with the first of 16 games that will offer some $12 million in overall prize money.
Even more money will be won or lost during side games at the tournament that annually attracts the top poker players from around the world.
The final game of the tournament is a $10,000 buy-in no-limit Texas Hold'em competition that offers a minimum $1 million first prize and crowns the world poker champion.
