Joe David Aswegan, 89, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born Jan. 1, 1910, in Parkersburg, Iowa. A resident for 46 years, he was a retired foreman for Titanium Metals Corp. for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Alma; one daughter, DeOnne Sweet of Henderson; two sisters, Milda Summers of Henderson and Edith Dettloff of Arcadia, Wis.; one brother, Willard Aswegan of Plummer, Idaho; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 5 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
Cecil M. Bickhart
Cecil M. Bickhart, 87, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 1, 1911, in Minneapolis. A resident for 49 years, he was a retired Clark County School District music supervisor, who taught at John S. Park Elementary School from 1950-52 and worked in relief bands on the Strip.
He is survived by his wife of 59 1/2 years, Ann; one daughter, Patricia Bickhart of Las Vegas; one son, Charles Bickhart of Atlanta; one sister, Elizabeth Gilbertson of Minneapolis; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to 2 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. Saturday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.

Ora Jane Cleary, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A railroad clerk, she was born March 28, 1923, in Idaho.
She is survived by two daughters, Robin Quesada of Las Vegas and Duffy Thornton of Bowling Green, Ky.; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. today in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in the LDS Valley Vista Ward. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.
Marjorie Mae Dennis
Marjorie Mae Dennis, 65, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 23, 1933, in Wisconsin. A resident for 15 years, she was an office clerk in the health care industry.
She is survived by her husband, Jason; three sons, Michael R. Nall, Todd J. Nall and Chris J. Nall; two daughters, Debra Lynn Bonne and Patricia J. Nall; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 9-10:15 a.m. Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday in St. Bridget's Catholic Church, 220 N. 14 St.
DeVere Leslie Dittemore
DeVere Leslie Dittemore, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 29, 1920, in Kansas. A resident for 21 years, he was a self-employed interior decorator and an Army Air Corps veteran.

Gertrud F. Drabe
Gertrud F. Drabe, 93, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born May 15, 1905, in Germany. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Dieter Drabe of Henderson and Peter Drabe of Las Vegas; one sister, Hedwig Bade of Germany; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Eden Vale Memorial Park. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Thomas Charles Elgas Sr.
Thomas Charles Elgas Sr., 54, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born May 21, 1944, in Milwaukee. A resident for more than 30 years, he was a sales representative in the advertising industry.
He is survived by three sons, Thomas Elgas Jr., Michael Elgas and Maxwell Elgas, all of Las Vegas; six daughters, Mary Elgas of Bullhead City, Ariz., and Cindy Hammond, Vicky Parker, Samantha Elgas, Stephanie Elgas and Jennifer Elgas, all of Las Vegas; five brothers, Gary Elgas, Bobby Elgas, Ronnie Elgas and Donny Elgas, all of California, and Jimmy Elgas of Illinois; four sisters, Patsy Elgas, Susie Elgas, Nancy Elgas and Jeanie Elgas, all of California; and 12 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9-11 a.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will follow at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will be in Memory Gardens.

Burney Lloyd Gericke, 31, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Aug. 13, 1967, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was an auto parts salesman.
He is survived by his mother, Marlene Christie of Orangeville, Calif.; his father, C. Lloyd Gericke of Las Vegas; three sisters, Kathryn Bowes of Ojai, Calif., Ellen Braddus of Gold River, Calif., and Carol Hiatt of Tracy, Calif.; and his two grandmothers, Gladys Gericke of Las Vegas and Leone Richards of Oklahoma City.

Harry M. 'Mike' Greene
Harry M. "Mike" Greene, 41, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 25, 1957, in Columbus, Ohio. A resident for 31 years, he was a banquet server and a member of the Culinary Union.
He is survived by his father, Robert E. Greene of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and one brother, Richard Greene of Las Vegas.

Blanche B. Hausknecht
Blanche B. Hausknecht, 97, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local health care center. She was born Jan. 5, 1902, in Chicago. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired secretary for a railroad.
She is survived by one son, Otto Hausknecht of Cincinnati; one daughter, Connie Black of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Debbie Hendricks, 46, of Henderson died April 5 in Henderson. She was born April 21, 1952, in Detroit. A resident for eight years, she worked for an ice cream company.

Jeannette Hickenlooper
Jeannette Hickenlooper, 80, of Tyler, Texas, died March 31 in Tyler. She was born July 29, 1918, in Seward County, Neb. A former Las Vegas resident for more than 30 years, she was a dedicated volunteer for Shriners handicapped children, a member of El Giza Temple 139, Daughters of the Nile Patrol Unit and Order of the Eastern Star Southgate Chapter 18.
She is survived by her husband, Selden B.; one daughter, Sherrie Oliver Smith; two sisters, Phyllis Watts Stutzman and Bernadeen Porter Bye; two brothers, Frank D. Watts and Keith R. Porter; one grandson and one great-grandson.
A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Sunday in the Masonic Memorial Temple, 2200 W. Mesquite Ave. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Opal Joeckle
Opal Joeckle, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born July 26, 1914, in Ohio. A resident for 29 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Jodi Rule-House of Las Vegas and Lori Hayes of Reno; one grandson, Ty Joeckle of Las Vegas; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 7 p.m. services today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
Murray Jones
Murray Jones, 82, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 30, 1916, in Austin, Texas. A resident for 46 years, he was a laborer at the Nevada Test Site, enjoyed hunting and the outdoors along with his many close friends and especially his family.
He is survived by his wife, Isabel; one daughter, Ellen Haynes of Stockton, Calif.; one son, Murray Jones Jr. of Las Vegas; one brother, Forrest Jones of Texas; 11 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 30 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will be private.
Gerald Joseph Leyman
Gerald Joseph Leyman, 71, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 5, 1927, in Michigan. A resident for 40 years, he was a barber and a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Cervantes; and two grandchildren.

Alvin H. Lindsey Sr.
Alvin H. Lindsey Sr., 63, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born Aug. 19, 1935, in Winchester, Mass. A resident for 19 years, he was a retired mechanic for the Clark County School District, a Korean War Army veteran, worked with the Special Olympics and the U.S. Olympic Committee.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonna; two sons, Alvin H. Lindsey Jr. of Newark, N.J., and Kendall Richardson of New Haven, Conn.; one daughter, Robin Garrett of Atlanta; one stepdaughter, Janet Hendrix of Las Vegas; his mother, Helen G. Lindsey of Southbury, Conn.; five brothers, John Lindsey, James Lindsey, Robert Lindsey and David Lindsey, all of Boston, and Richard Lindsey of Lompoc, Calif.; three sisters, Elizabeth Cordice of California, Eleanor Neville of Southbury and Rosemary Herring of Chicago; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in New Bethel Baptist Church, 400 W. Adams Ave. Burial will be in Colorado.
Earl Maxcy
Earl Maxcy, 81, of Boulder City died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 29, 1917, in New Bedford, Mass. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired president of the Teamsters Union and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah R.; one daughter, Linda Jordan of Huntington Beach, Calif.; one sister, Phyllis Weisgerber of Portland, Ore.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday in the Christian Center Church, 571 Adams Blvd., Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Acosta and Rosie Broome, both of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony; two sons, Dominic Nigro of Apple Valley, Calif., and Louis Nigro of Las Vegas; two sisters, Mary Tromba and Angeline Benitez, both of Buffalo, N.Y.; one brother, Charles Salli of Florida; and seven grandchildren.

Tony Sanfilippo, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 10, 1927, in Chicago. A resident for nine years, he was a retired sheet metal worker and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine; two daughters, Deborah DeMario of River Grove, Ill., and Cynthia Birdsell of Elgin, Ill.; two brothers, Melvin Rubeck of Las Vegas and Raymond Sanfilippo of Chicago; and five grandchildren.

Lester J. Schaefer, 88, of Henderson died Sunday in a local health care center. He was born Nov. 13, 1910, in Lebanon, Ill. A resident for two years, he was a retired real estate broker and a life member of Las Vegas Elks Lodge 1468 for 36 years.
He is survived by his wife, Rhoda; one daughter, Sherri Schaefer of Annapolis, Md.; and one grandchild.

Nasheka Andrea Searcy, 15, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born April 30, 1983, in Ashland, Ala. A resident for six years, she was a Las Vegas High School student, a student-teacher aide, a member of the ROTC and debate and drill teams.
She is survived by her mother, Sandra Searcy; and her grandmother, Geraldine Searcy of Las Vegas.

Trish N. Stapp
Trish N. Stapp, 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born March 24, 1936, in Los Angeles. A resident for 40 years, she was a legal secretary and a member of the National Association of Legal Secretaries.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; two sons, Zane Alexander Stapp and Quentin Armstrong Stapp, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Jacquiline Newell of Los Angeles; one brother, Robert A. Nelson of Kingman, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.

William Anthony Stolpman, 61, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born April 30, 1937, in New York. A resident for 12 years, he was a laundromat owner and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; one son, Richard; one sister, Lois; and three grandchildren.

Grace L. Szostek
Grace L. Szostek, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 4, 1917, in Terre Haute, Ind. A resident for 2 1/2 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Steven Szostek of Las Vegas; three brothers, Lewis, Bill and William, all of Indiana; three sisters, Mary Jane of Oklahoma, Charlotte of North Carolina and Loreen of Indiana; and two grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Indiana. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Mike Terlizzi
Mike Terlizzi, 45, of Las Vegas died April 13 in Las Vegas. He was born July 23, 1953, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a construction superintendent and a Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by his father, Michael Terlizzi, his mother, Alene Nichols, one sister, Lynele Moore, and one brother, Joe Terlizzi, all of Las Vegas.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Ron 'R.T.' Tomassetti Sr.
Ron "R.T." Tomassetti Sr., 58, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 4, 1941, in Meriden, Conn. A resident for 37 years, he owned and operated Neptune Truck/American Mobile Wash.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; two daughters, Dianna Jorgensen-Nacos and Michelle Hitt, and two sons, Ron Tomassetti Jr. and Wayne Tomassetti, all of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 1 p.m. services Saturday in the LDS Palmhurst Ward Chapel. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.

She is survived by one son, Joshua St. Ives of Santa Rosa, Calif.; two daughters, Jill Golden and Carrie Watkins, both of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

Charles F. Wickham III
Charles F. Wickham III, 21, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 6, 1978, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a grocery courtesy clerk.
He is survived by his fiancee, Kara M. Melton, his parents, Darlene M. and Charles F. Wickham II, and one daughter, Daija Michelle Wickham, all of North Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Lynus and Sandy Matz of Las Vegas and Charles F. and Virginia D. Wickham of North Las Vegas.
