PUC staff counsel leaves office

PUC spokesman Rick Hackman confirmed that state deputy attorney general Harry Schlegelmilch will take over the position. Hackman referred inquiries on Wellinghoff's departure to the governor's office.
Jack Finn, a spokesman for the governor's office, said he could not comment on Wellinghoff's departure, other than to say it was a personnel matter.
Wellinghoff had no comment.
