Curtis said the Las Vegas locals casino operator's performance is outpacing expectations.
"Station reported excellent first quarter results, with operating earnings per share of 18 cents, ahead of consensus of 13 cents, and our 15 cent estimate, which was the high of the Street" said Curtis.
Also, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization increased 20 percent to $53.7 million from $44.7 million a year ago, said Curtis.
Curtis is raising his price target on Station stock to $24, and his 1999 earnings per share estimate to 70 cents from 65 cents.
