KOZ.com said its local affiliates use the KOZ.com Community Publishing System (CPS) to enhance their local websites with sites for community groups and organizations. Features include online chat, newsletters, group member rosters, interactive calendars and discussion groups.

"We already have more than 400 local organizations participating in our Community Links area; but with CPS, we can offer so much more functionality to these and other groups," said the Review-Journal's Jack Harpster, new media director at Donrey.

The Las Vegas Sun's website, lasvegassun.com, is part of the vegas.com site. vegas.com has community information and sites, but has no plans to link with a national partner like KOZ.com.
