Southern Utah erupted for seven runs in the third inning Monday and went on to rout UNLV 13-5 in a non-conference game at Cedar City. Elliott Sarabia, Tony DeMarco, Nace Kaup and Ryan Hamill had two hits each to account for eight of the Rebels' 10 hits. The loss drops the Rebels' record to 21-25 while Southern Utah is 12-29. UNLV plays host to Texas Christian in a three-game Western Athletic Conference series beginning Friday night.
