The Western Athletic Conference chose UNLV senior Asaf Tishler men's tennis Athlete of the Week. Ranked 31st in the country, he upset No. 27 Gareth Williams of Tulsa and then defeated 65th-ranked Pepe Caballero of New Mexico. Tishler, who has lost only one set in his last 15 matches, is 19-5 overall in singles and 14-6 in doubles. He has won 26 of his last 28 matches.
