Joseph Adamo, 58, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 28, 1941, in New York. A resident for many years, he was an entrepreneur.

He is survived by one sister, Catherine Ciambriello of New York.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in New York. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Glen Ayres

Glen Ayres, 68, of North Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 11, 1930, in Nebraska City, Neb. A resident for 43 years, he was a retired carpet business owner-operator and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Dora; one son, Steven Ayres of Las Vegas; one daughter, Claudette Cox of North Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 12:40 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Henry Bennett

Henry Bennett, 92, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born Oct. 22, 1906, in Independence Township, N.J. A resident for 22 years, he as a retired machinist for a manufacturing company.

He is survived by one nephew, Robert M. Zidonik of Las Vegas.

Arthur C. Benson

Arthur C. Benson, 50, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 30, 1948, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for six years, he was a taxi driver.

He is survived by his wife, Luzviminda; and two sisters, Diane Baden of Danville, Va., and Elains Webster of Staatsburg, N.Y.

Joseph Braun, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born June 24, 1920, in Czechoslovakia. A resident for 3 1/2 years, he was an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Aileen; two sons, Jay Braun of Los Angeles and Maurice Braun of California; and one daughter, Amy Marquez of California; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Clara Brzezinski

Clara Brzezinski, 86, of Henderson died Monday in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. She was born March 4, 1913, in Cleveland. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Rosemary Malkowski of Henderson.

Barbara Colich

Barbara Colich, 92, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 16, 1906, in Tisno, Croatia. A resident for 22 years, she was a homemaker and a member of Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge 512.

She is survived by one daughter, Rajka Campagiorni of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. until noon services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Cemetery.

Darvin James Hallesy

Darvin James Hallesy, 33, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 10, 1965, in Montana. A resident for 10 years, he was a retail audio technician.

He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Hallesy of Las Vegas; his father, John Hallesy of Wyoming; two brothers, Rex Hallesy of Modesto, Calif., and Douglas Hallesy of Las Vegas; and three sisters, Patricia Kraus of Victorville, Calif., Renee Hallesy of Denver and Lynette Stewart of Henderson.

Edwin R. Harlow

Edwin R. Harlow, 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born March 20, 1918, in Illinois. A resident for two months, he was a letter carrier for the Postal Service, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, American Legion, Office of Human Concern, superintendent of the Zion, Ill., School Board and president of the Senior Citizen Center in Berryville, Ark.

He is survived by one son, George E. Harlow; one daughter, Donna H. Ponzio; and one grandchild.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Robert James Hastings

Robert James Hastings, 68, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 2, 1930, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 21 years, he was a security guard at a retail store and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; one son, Jayme Hall Smith of Butler, Pa.; one brother, Paul Joseph Hastings of Rochester, N.Y.; two sisters, Lillian McCumber of Taylor, S.C., and Margaret Piipke of Greenville, S.C.; 25 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Stephen Scott Hedlund

Stephen Scott Hedlund, 49, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 25, 1949, in Ames, Iowa. A resident for five years, he was a computer programmer.

He is survived by his companion, Peggy McCoy of Las Vegas; two daughters, Brook Dana Hedlund of Boca Raton, Fla., and Ashley Nicole Hedlund of Las Vegas; one son, David John Hedlund of Boca Raton; his parents, Virginia M. and John C. Hedlund of Glendale, Calif.; four sisters, Diana Marshall, Susan McAndrews and Nanci Thomas, all of Glendale, and Jannell Adams of Monrovia, Calif.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Arthur J. Jenkins

Arthur J. Jenkins, 50, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born June 18, 1948, in Fort Deposit, Ala. A resident for 12 years, he was a tour company bus driver and a Vietnam War Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; two sons, Arthur Jenkins Jr. of Mississippi and Joseph Hooks of Oklahoma; three daughters, Nichole Jenkins and Kimberly Jenkins, both of Minnesota, and Tawakia Hooks of Las Vegas; four brothers, Peter Jenkins, Willie Jenkins and Fred Jenkins, all of Ohio, and Wilbert Jenkins of Alabama; two sisters, Ruthie Jones of Georgia and Rosie Coley of Alabama; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1189 W. Hassell Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Arzetta B. Kaelin

Arzetta B. Kaelin, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born May 8, 1916, in Michigan. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired medical assistant and a longtime hospital volunteer.

She is survived by one son, Ted Miller of San Dimas, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Samuel Kern

Samuel Kern, 89, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. He was born Jan. 17, 1910, in Vienna, Austria. A resident for two years, he was a retired milliner.

He is survived by one son, Jeffrey M. Kern of Las Vegas; one daughter, Evelyn R. Miller of Montecito, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Jean Leslie Lidey

Jean Leslie Lidey, 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 5, 1925, in Columbus, Ohio. A resident for 38 years, she was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Howard.

She is survived by three sons, Gary W. Lidey of Tonopah, Mitchell E. Lidey of Richland, Wash., and Charles S. Lidey of Las Vegas; three daughters, Susan J. Cefaratti and Jenny A. Leddon, both of Las Vegas, and Nancy J. Wolfe of Cody, Wyo.; one brother, Mark Steward, and one sister, Jo Ann Steward, both of Columbus; 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Ruby Louise Miller

Ruby Louise Miller, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 7, 1925, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for 50 years, she was a homemaker, a member of Daughters of the Nile and the Social Order of the Beauceant.

She is survived by one daughter, Kim Keiser of Las Vegas; one son, Tim Miller of Oregon; one brother, Darvy Hoppin of Jacks Valley; and two grandchildren.

Andrea Sentoria Morgan

Andrea Sentoria Morgan, 42, of North Las Vegas died Monday in North Las Vegas. A resident for many years, she was born March 26, 1957, in Thomson, Ga.

He is survived by his wife, Carole; seven sons, Scott Mowery of Inverness, Calif., Greg Mowery of New York City, Doug Mowery of Grass Valley, Calif., Kevin Mowery of Boyes Hot Springs, Calif., Fred McDonald of Oak Hills, Calif., Jack McDonald of Show Low, Ariz., and Patrick Mowery of Las Vegas; four daughters, Kathy Tillemans and Chere Binyons, both of Henderson, Susan Christian of Lyons, Ore., and Eileen Whitt of Las Vegas; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Francisco Ornelas, 70, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born March 9, 1929, in Brighton, Colo. A resident for 55 years, he was a laborer in the construction industry and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Robinson; three daughters, Donnalinda Ornelas of Sacramento and Tina Ornelas and Melody Arjimo, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Anthony Lawton of Las Vegas and Shane Ornelas of Salt Lake City; three brothers, Joseph Ornelas and Seal Ornelas, both of Las Vegas, and Abe Ornelas of Denver; and six grandchildren.

Victor Stephen Shah

Victor Stephen Shah, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday. He was born Jan. 28, 1915, in Washington, D.C. A resident for 41 years, he was a certified public accountant for many years.

He is survived by three daughters, Myrna S. Wang of Las Vegas, Virginia Shah of China and Victoria Loveland of Helendale, Calif.; two sons, Nelson Shah and Bang Da Shah, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Daisy Shah and Pansy Shah, both of China; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 2 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Ralph L. Sisneros

Ralph L. Sisneros, 67, of Henderson died Monday in a local health care center. He was born Feb. 8, 1932, in Los Angeles. A former Las Vegas resident for four years and a resident of Henderson for 21 years, he was a retired meat salesman and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; one daughter, Annette Beck of Henderson; three sons, Ralph Sisneros Jr., Jay Sisneros and Tony Sisneros, all of Tacoma, Wash.; his mother, Estefana Ayala of Yuma, Ariz.; two sisters, Velia Carpio of Amata, Ariz., and Oleia Parra of Los Angeles; two brothers, Don Carpio of Yuma and Tony Parra of Albuquerque, N.M.; and four grandchildren.

Bruce J. Teague, 74, of Henderson died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 30, 1924, in Monarch, Okla. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired telephone company marketing executive, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and a member of the Masons.

He is survived by his wife, Sunny; one daughter, Lee Ann James of Sylmar, Calif.; one son, Mont Teague of Kirkland, Wash.; and one grandchild.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

John H. Trenery

John H. Trenery, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 22, 1926, in New Jersey. A resident for two months, he was a retired machine operator for Proctor and Gamble and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Donna M. Trenery-Erwin of Las Vegas; one brother, William Trenery of Toms River, N.J.; and two sisters, Florence Landy of Belmar, N.J., and Gertrude Conklin of Toms River.

Emilia Villaluna

Emilia Villaluna, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born July 17, 1920, in Pangasinan, Philippines. A resident for seven years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Delfin; four daughters, Erlinda Chu, Necia Lagasca, Leonora Dongon and Carolyn Pike, and one son, Romeo Villaluna, all of Las Vegas; 34 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

Peggy Wade, 70, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born March 12, 1929, in Cleveland. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired hospital nurse's aide.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Feigenbaum of Columbus, Ohio, and Laura Sullivan of Cleveland; her stepfather, Bob Shook of Las Vegas; one sister, Kathleen Kline of Las Vegas; one brother, Thomas Henderson of Elgin, Ill.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Dorothy Wieland

Dorothy Wieland, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 16, 1923, in Cleveland. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Betty Ramsey and Georgia Shura, both of Las Vegas; one brother, William Oberacker of Ellenton, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Larry Williams of Santa Ana, Calif., Glen Williams of Norwood, Colo., and Craig Williams of San Diego; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
