Fuzzy Zoeller, Scott McCarron and Bruce Lietzke also have verbally committed to the tournament Aug. 26-29 at Montreux Golf and Country Club, tourney sponsors said.
Eight hotel-casinos are among the 32 local businesses that have signed on as sponsors of the first PGA Tour event in Reno since Ben Hogan won the Reno Open Invitational in 1948.
Tickets go on sale May 1.
