The city of Las Vegas was honored recently for the planning that went into Enterprise Park, an industrial park in the northwest.

A Spotlight Award was given to the city at a recent meeting of the Southern Nevada chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).

The award recognized the park for being the best in the category of Master Planning of a Public Project.

The city also received a merit award in the Small Scale Project, Public Project category for the Las Vegas Business Center located in the Enterprise Park.

Two other projects built in the Las Vegas Technology Center, also at Enterprise Park, over the past year were recognized with Spotlight Awards as being the best in their categories.

Swisher & Hall AIA Limited's Peak Office Building won in the Medium Scale Projects, Office Building category. Steinberg Diagnostic Medical-Northwest won in the Medium Scale Projects, Build-to-Suit category for its Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging Center.

Last year the Las Vegas Technology Center won five Spotlight Awards, the most received for any public or private project.
