Letter: Take care of needy Americans first

Of course as usual we are told that we will return these 20,000 people back to their country when the war is over! Not.

Now we will have 20,000 more people on welfare, free medical, food stamps, and eventually immediate citizenship.

They can be added to the rest of the refugees we have brought here or allowed here under similar circumstances, bypass legal entry quotas, etc., and they will take jobs away from citizens here by working for less per hour.

Why can't the U.S. government take all this money we spent in Iraq and Kosovo and put it into this country for the real needy, starving people, and mentally ill who have fallen through the system and are on the streets.

Why are Americans last to receive help?

Actually why are there any Americans who never can receive help?
