Letter: Sun’s opinion of Kevorkian wrong
Thursday, April 8, 1999 | 11:52 a.m.
I'm glad that an editorial by the Sun proclaims that it is its view that Kevorkian is a murderer.
To me the paper is not qualified to give any opinion on terminally ill people.
I doubt very much if they ever interviewed any ill people. Have they?
They say that this issue is about the sanctity of human life. What sanctity? When you are a vegetable, doped up and in unbearable pain.
The Lord says "Come unto me, and I shall release you of your suffering and pain."
You talk about putting to sleep the family pet. Well I value the life of a pet as much as a human being.
