Traffic plan approved
Wednesday, April 7, 1999 | 9:49 a.m.
Under the plan, two-thirds of the residents on a street or area must sign a petitition requesting a county review of traffic in an area. A study would determine the extent of the problem.
If a problem was determined to exist, county engineers would meet with residents and offer possible "traffic-calming" solutions.
They would range from re-striping roads and closing streets to adding medians and setting up electronic signs warning motorists of their speed.
