Letter: Definition of sexual relationship might prove Clinton didn’t lie

If a man raped a woman, did the woman have a sexual relationship with the man? If a man, because of a date-rape pill, aroused a woman to have sex with him, did the woman have a sexual relationship with the man?

If we asked, would we expect the woman in these two scenarios to say that she had a sexual relationship with the man? Of course not. In her mind she was performed upon with a sexual act she did not seek, whether she enjoyed it or not.

Was Clinton of the same mind as the woman in the above scenarios when he said he did not have a sexual relationship with Lewinsky? After all, he did not pursue her, she did. Whatever method she used may not be a date-rape pill, but it had the same effect.

I believe our president's mind and soul was telling the truth when he said he did not have a sexual relationship with that woman.
