Letter: Maybe impeachment talk should be pointed elsewhere

Admittedly, President Clinton's personal "affairs" are far below the moral standards we would have hoped for, but he has done a decent job as president. In these divisive times Clinton has done quite well maneuvering among opposing forces who at times are more interested in their own self-aggrandizement than the welfare of the American people.

It is also true that in recent years we have crucified public figures for the same kind of behavior but this is different. It is the office of the president of the United States that is being dragged in the dirt by Starr.

Cease and desist, Starr, and let the president finish his term of office without further hunting for witches.
