Shauntay Wheaton, 15, and DeAngelo Mitchell, 16, were arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center on a charge of murder with a deadly weapon. The teens were seen near the area after the shooting about 9 a.m., police said.
The names of the 71-year-old man and 86-year-old woman were not released.
Police believe robbery was the motive for the slayings.
"There is no call for this - she was the sweetest lady," neighbor Robin King said. "She sold candy to all the kids in the neighborhood - they called her the candy lady."
