Thursday, Sept. 24, 1998 | 9:01 a.m.
One of his victims was a 15-year-old girl who was getting a tattoo on her stomach.
James Tubbs pleaded guilty to a gross misdemeanor lewdness charge on Tuesday in the plea bargain that ended the case that had been scheduled to go to trial on Monday. The single charge covers both victims.
He will now face a maximum sentence of a year in jail when he is sentenced on Dec. 1.
Tubbs, who worked at the Pair-A-Dice Tattoo Parlor, was indicted by a Clark County grand jury after the teen-ager and another woman complained that Tubbs fondled them while they were getting a tattoo.
Tubbs originally was charged with sexual assault, which carries a life prison sentence and no chance for probation, and attempted sexual assault.
