Robert Daniel Bernstein, 67, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. He was born Feb. 19, 1931, in Chicago. A resident for one year, he was a quotations manager for a plastic manufacturer.

He is survived by his wife, Marlene; two sons, Richard Bernstein and Gary Bernstein; one daughter, Sherry Bernstein; his mother, Sema Bernstein; and one sister, Barbara Seiller.

MARGARET BUNYAN

Margaret Bunyan, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in Boulder City. She was born Dec. 7, 1917, in Niagara Falls, N.Y. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired accounting clerk for United Airlines.

She is survived by one daughter, Susan Bunyan of Henderson; one son, John Bunyan of Cincinnati; and two grandchildren.

NORMAN AARON CHOHAT

Norman Aaron Chohat, 71, of Henderson died Sunday in North Las Vegas. He was born March 27, 1927, in Connecticut. A resident for seven years, he was an electrical engineer and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Ilse; two daughters, Stephanie Hayes of Arizona and Leslie Andrews of Henderson; two sisters, Miriam Kaplan of Florida and Evelyn Hershatter of Connecticut; and one grandchild.

Graveside services were scheduled at 11:30 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

JIM EDDY

Jim Eddy, 65, of Henderson died Sunday in Westwood, Calif. He was born Jan. 19, 1933, in Excelsior, Minn. A resident for three years, he was a retired salesman in the advertising industry, a Korean War Army veteran and a member of the Variety Club of Las Vegas.

He is survived by his wife, Rita J.; one daughter, Maria Eddy of Henderson; three sons, Shawn Eddy and Aaron Eddy, both of Overland Park, Kan., and Brian Eddy of Henderson; his mother, Florence Eddy of Excelsior, Minn.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-5:30 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Mass will be celebrated 6 p.m. Friday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

FREDERICK WILLIAM FASCENELLI, M.D.

Frederick William Fascenelli, M.D., 67, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 7, 1931, in New York City. A resident for four years, he was a retired physician, a Vietnam and Korean War Air Force veteran, a member of the American Medical Association since 1966 and the Orange County Medical Association since 1971.

He is survived by his wife, Anne H.; three daughters, Nora A. Fascenelli of Yuma, Ariz., Cynthia F. Kirkeby of Orange, Calif.; Melissa A. Fascenelli of Huntington Beach, Calif.; one son, Frederick William Fascenelli Jr. of Orange; one brother, Joseph A. Fascenelli of Bedford, N.Y.; and four grandchildren.

Ernest Hood, 72, of Las Vegas died Sept. 8 in Las Vegas. A resident for many years, he was born June 25, 1926, in Las Vegas.

LORRAINE MILES HUTCHERSON

Lorraine Miles Hutcherson, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born May 21, 1920, in Los Angeles. A resident for 16 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Henry; one daughter, Jean Hutcherson of Germany; two sons, Jim Hutcherson and John Hutcherson, both of California; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

LEONARD ISENBERG

Leonard Isenberg, 71, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born Nov 15, 1926, in Perth Amboy, N.J. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired merchant.

He is survived by two daughters, Lee Isenberg and Betsee Isenberg, both of Los Angeles; and one sister, Eleanor Polkowitz-Boroff of Las Vegas.

Graveside services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., handled arrangements.

HAROLD B. 'HAL' JONES

Harold B. "Hal" Jones, 59, of Lakewood, Colo., died Sept. 17 in a local health care center. He was born Nov. 13, 1938, in Schoolcraft Township, Ill. A former Boulder City and Las Vegas resident until 1990, he was a retired budget analyst for the federal government.

He is survived by two sons, Wade Jones and Robert Jones, both of Las Vegas; his father, William Jones of Washington state; three sisters, Marlene Ruff of Four Lakes, Wash., Alice Rettke of Brookings, Ore., and Linda Bryant of Klamath Falls, Ore.; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will 4 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

RAYMOND CARROLL LEE

Raymond Carroll Lee, 94, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born July 22, 1904, in Los Angeles. A resident for 45 years, he owned a laundry.

He is survived by two nieces, Marilyn Miller of Las Vegas and Margaret McIntire of Florence, Ore.; and one nephew, Bill Lee of San Pedro, Calif.

Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is arranging a private memorial service.

GENEVIEVE CORRINE MEINKE

Genevieve Corrine Meinke, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born April 15, 1920, in Portland, Ore. A resident for 26 years, she was a retired manager from the department store Broadway.

She is survived by three daughters, Terry MacMillan of Las Vegas, Judy Warn of California and Joan Landman of Washington state; five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

RICHARD E. O'DONNELL

Richard E. O'Donnell, 74, of Las Vegas died Sept. 17 in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 18, 1923, in Pennsylvania. A resident for two years, he was a retired Federal Aviation Administration computer engineer, a retired Air Force veteran, a member of the Masons, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Elks Club.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; one son, John O'Donnell; three daughters, Pamela Ma, Susan D'Orra and Maggie Poniscan; two brothers, Art and Leroy; and two sisters, Virginia and Joanne.

Graveside services will be 9:15 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

DUANE M. OLSON

Duane M. Olson, 78, of Rochester, Minn., died Sept. 17 in Rochester. He was born March 16, 1920, in Milan Township, Minn. A former Boulder City winter resident since 1982, he was a part-time auctioneer during his retirement, a DeKalb, Ill., attorney general's office worker, a Milwaukee typesetter, a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War Navy veteran, a member of the Sons of Norway, a baseball fan, enjoyed fishing, traveling and antiques.

He is survived by one daughter, Gloria Sturman of Kenosha, Wis.; three brothers, George Olson of Shabbona, Stanley Olson of Rochelle, Ill., and Eugene Olson of Seminole, Fla.; two sisters, Genevieve Berg of Aurora, Ill., and Dorothy Driscoll of Kirkland, Ill.; several nieces and nephews; and two granddaughters.

No local services are scheduled. Jacobson Funeral Home, Shabbona, Ill., is handling arrangements.

MARY PURINGTON

Mary Purington, 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Feb. 24, 1920, in Mexico. A resident for 1 1/2 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, William; one son, William E. Purington; one daughter, Madeleine M. Hopkins; two brothers, Tony Rodriguez and Richard Rodriguez; four sisters, Lupe Sabastino, Margaret Rodriguez, Anita Smith and Jenny Loomis; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 Mountain Vista St. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

IRENE A. OLAFSSON STUFKOSKY

Irene A. Olafsson Stufkosky, 69, of Boulder City died Monday in Boulder City. She was born March 12, 1929, in Nesconset, N.Y. A resident for 19 years, she was a registered nurse for the Clark County Health District for 10 years and a volunteer at Mitchell Elementary and Garrett Middle School.

She is survived by her husband, James Sr.; five daughters, Sheila Stufkosky of Tempe, Ariz., Deidre Heersema of San Diego, Jody Stufkosky of Henderson, Lisa Lyons of Peck, Idaho, and Ann Stufkosky Jr. of Riverside, Calif.; two sons, James Stufkosky Jr. of Riverside, and John Stufkosky of South Lake Tahoe, Calif.; one sister, Elsie Olsen of St. James, N.Y.; one brother, Oskar Olafsson of Smithtown, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until a 2 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
