Peter E. Canesi, 93, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 17, 1905, in Fezzano, Italy. A resident for 43 years, he was a retired showroom captain and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one sister, Arturina Lavagnini of Italy.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
FRANK CIMINO JR.
Frank Cimino Jr., 69, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 17, 1929, in Illinois. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired police officer and Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; four sons, Peter Cimino of Illinois, Joseph Cimino of South Africa and John Cimino of Las Vegas; two daughters, Diane O'Halloran of Illinois and Donna Yamashita of Hawaii; one brother, Anthony Cimino of Illinois; and six grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
CLAIR COOLEY
Clair Cooley, 86, of Las Vegas died Aug. 26 in a local hospital. A retired motel manager, he was born June 23, 1912.
He is survived by one sister, Ann Turnbul of Canada.
Graveside services were scheduled at 9:30 a.m. today in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
LORETTA DEMURO
Loretta DeMuro, 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 25, 1915, in Nashua, N.H. A resident for two years, she was a retired clerk for a manufacturer.
She is survived by two daughters, Diane Atkins of Las Vegas and Sandra Intorcia of Yorktown Heights, N.Y.; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
FREDDIE LEE FOSTER
Freddie Lee Foster, 48, of Las Vegas died Aug. 30 in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 18, 1950, in Louisiana. A resident for 42 years, he was a culinary worker, a member of the National Guard and a member of the Culinary Union.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; four sons, Vernon, Jay, Freddie Jr. and Scottie; one daughter, Felicia; one brother, Moses; four sisters, Regina, Margarita, Alberta and Nita; and one grandchild.
Visitation was scheduled 9-11 a.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, followed by graveside services in Woodlawn Cemetery.
GERTRUDE GRENIER
Gertrude Grenier, 76, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. She was born Sept. 25, 1921, in Vermont. A resident for six months, she was a food service director.
She is survived by her husband, Leland of Florida; two sons, Robert G. Grenier of Henderson and Richard J. Grenier of Sunapee, N.H.; one brother, Ralph Sartwell of Concord, N.H.; two sisters, Marge Kempton of Plymouth, Mass., and Rhoda Sartwell of Newport, N.H.; and five grandchildren.
Burial will be in New Hampshire. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
MARYLOU HENRY
Marylou Henry, 75, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 21, 1920, in Georgia. A resident for 24 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Charles E. Lehtonen of Long Beach, Calif., and Theodore L. Lehtonen of Lake Forest, Calif.; two daughters, Hilda E. Brock of San Jose, Calif., and Lenore E. Graf of Mentor, Ohio; two sisters, Pauline Goodheart and Ola Cox, both of Calhoun, Ga.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling private arrangements.
WILLIAM THOMAS HUTCHISON
William Thomas Hutchison, 74, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 15, 1923, in Akron, Ohio. A resident for 13 years, he held a managerial position with a tool and die company in Ohio and more recently worked for the Las Vegas Convention Center and was a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; one son, Thomas Hutchison of New Hampshire; one daughter, Marita Mann of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Monday with a 6 p.m. prayer service in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 9 a.m. Tuesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
JULIA ANN JAKUBOWSKI
Julia Ann Jakubowski, 60, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born April 14, 1938, in Maryland. A resident for four years, she was a Bell Telephone customer service representative.
She is survived by one sister, Elizabeth.

ED SUMIO KUNIMITSU
Ed Sumio Kunimitsu, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 13, 1915, in Honolulu. A resident for nine years, he was a supervisor for an auto body shop.
He is survived by his wife, Ida; one son, Ross Kunimitsu; two daughters, Carol Tamashiro and Betty Ramos; one brother, Frank Kunimitsu; and eight grandchildren.

SEYMOUR MARSHAK
Seymour Marshak, 76, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local health care center. He was born May 2, 1922, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for eight years, he was a retired executive marketing director for an automotive firm, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and past national president of the American Marketing Association.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; four daughters, Kim Hoke and Lisa Speck, both of Bluefield Hills, Mich., Robin Stitzinger of Phoenix and Jill Farino of Orange, Calif.; three brothers, Larry Marshak of Boca Raton, Fla., Harvey Marshak of Bethesda, Md., and Michael Marshak of Bloomfield, Mich.; and eight grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

BETTY CARLENE MCNEIL
Betty Carlene McNeil, 75, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. She was born Sept. 7, 1922, in Arkansas. A resident for 37 years, she was a retired drug store retail sales clerk.
She is survived by one son, Patrick McNeil of Chino Hills, Calif.

FLEMMIE L. MICHELLI
Flemmie L. Michelli, 69, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 22, 1929, in Chicago. A resident for nine years, she was a retired food packer, member and past secretary of the Nevada Amputee Support Group.
She is survived by two daughters, Denise Aguilar of Ventura, Calif., and Dana Wichert of Las Vegas; four sisters, Lorraine Bianco, Marie Molinare and Lucille Ross, all of Chicago, and Toni Aaberg of Lake Worth, Fla.; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 5:30 p.m. today in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
The family suggests donations to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 28369, Las Vegas, NV 89126.
CHARLES FORREST PATCHIN
Charles Forrest Patchin, 85, of Pahrump died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 6, 1912, in Danbury, Iowa. A resident for many years, he was a retired Nevada Test Site heavy equipment mechanic, a World War II Army veteran and a member of Operating Engineers Local 12.
He is survived by four daughters, Patricia Browne of Dayton, Judy Patchin of Blackfoot, Idaho, and Cheryl Boyer and Kristine Turner, both of Las Vegas; five sons, Robert Patchin and Charles Terry Patchin, both of Las Vegas, Roger Patchin of Pahrump, Michael Patchin of Winnemucca and James Patchin of Boise, Idaho; one sister, Lucille Woodruff of Las Vegas; 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at 8 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., handled arrangements.
WILLIAM A. PILLER
William A. Piller, 57, of Denver died Sept. 4 in Cedar City, Utah, in an automobile accident. He was born June 27, 1941, in Kansas. A former Las Vegas resident for many years, he was a businessman, an avid outdoorsman and his interests included fishing, camping, trap shooting and football.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Santini; three stepdaughters, Lily, Guiliana and Gianpola; one sister, Jane Mares; and several nieces and nephews.
Southern Utah Mortuary, Cedar City, handled arrangements.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
DOROTHY MAY REYES
Dorothy May Reyes, 61, of Las Vegas died Sept. 4 in a local hospital. She was born Oct 24, 1936, in Weirton, W.Va., and was an MGM Grand laundry employee.
She is survived by two daughters, Nancy L. Sumida of Spanaway, Wash., and Linda Soriano of San Francisco; nine brothers and sisters, all of West Virginia; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service was 3 p.m. today in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.
JOHN E. UNRUE JR.
John E. Unrue Jr., 88, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 11, 1909, in Winifrede, W.Va. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired deputy insurance commissioner, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of Kanawha 20 Masonic Lodge, Beni Kedem and Knights Templar, all in Charleston, W.Va., and a 1934 graduate of New River State College in West Virginia.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; one son, John C. Unrue of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-4 p.m. Sunday with a 3 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be 8:30 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
The family suggests donations to Shriners Children's Hospital, Zelzah Shrine Temple, 2222 W. Mesquite Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89106.
