Letter: Media should report news, not trash-talk president
Friday, Sept. 11, 1998 | 9:47 a.m.
This six-year "religious right-wing" effort to "get our president" is evolving into "the destruction of America." If this dialogue on "the sex lives in Washington" continues -- we as a country, are headed for a tragic end.
My sincere belief has absolutely nothing to do with politics. It has everything to do with what is "fair and equitable" for all of us. The "Sex Police" could bring down our government. Are we ready to allow them to do that?
Just keep on this low-life caliber of "journalism" and we'll all "go down." Pornography by the "media" will be our destruction -- not the personal actions of our president.
Talk about an unfortunate place for Americans to be. This disgusting agenda has sadly been proliferated by all of you -- that directly affects all of us. Where are your values and principles that stand for democracy and honest reporting? Not "hearsay," resulting from anti-American hatred for our "first working president."
Stand tough for President Clinton, who has stood tough for "we the people." Stop this trash journalism and start reporting the news of the world. That's important to all of us.
