Lillian Kathleen Coryer, 64, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 13, 1933, in Baltimore. A resident for eight years, she was a Korean War Marine Corps veteran.

She is survived by her husband, James A.; two sons, James A. Coryer Jr. of Riverside, Calif., and Michael V. Coryer of Seattle; one daughter, Dianne L. Fairchild of Henderson; one brother, Melvin Kalinski, and three sisters, Stella Jankowiak, Helen Kulik and Angeline Kozierack, all of Baltimore; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Tuesday with a 6 p.m. rosary in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Guardian Angel Cathedral. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

MARLENE GUNNLAUGSSON

Marlene Gunnlaugsson, 65, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 18, 1933, in Chicago. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Josephine Miller of Las Vegas; and three sisters, Ann Thelin of Las Vegas, Clara Thompson of Fort Myers, Fla., and Patricia Zyskowski of Chicago.

F.B. 'HAL' HALLDORSON

F.B. "Hal" Halldorson, 82, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 20, 1916, in North Dakota. A resident for 29 years, he was a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel and director of mail services at UNLV.

He is survived by one daughter, Carol J. Neveu of Oakland, Calif.; one sister, Margaret Sommervold of South Dakota; and two grandchildren.

RUSSELL EVERETT HOWARD SR.

Russell Everett Howard Sr., 54, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 4, 1943, in Elkhart County, Ind. A resident for 21 years, he was an employee at Sprint Communications and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by four daughters, Tonya Howard of Las Vegas, Katrina Howard of Prescott, Ariz., Darlen Dubois of Granger, Ind., and Tonya Hogan of Goshen, Ind.; his mother, Ann Howard of Goshen; and three brothers, LeRoy Howard of Phoenix and DeWayne Howard and Rex Howard, both of Indiana.

FRANCIS LEROY JACKSON

Francis LeRoy Jackson, 62, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. A resident for 15 years, he was born July 22, 1936, in Prescott, Ariz.

He is survived by one brother, Douglas Jackson of Hot Springs, Ark.; two sisters, Dorothy Lacioppa of Logan, Utah, and Billie Jean Cooke of Smithfield, Utah.

Services will be Saturday in Nelson Funeral Home, Smithfield.

HUGH GEORGE MARCH

Hugh George March, 84, of Las Vegas died Aug. 27 in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 26, 1914, in Jamaica. A resident for nine years, he was a mechanical engineer.

He is survived by eight sons, Dennis March and Hugh M. March, both of Las Vegas, Christopher March and LeRoy March, both of New York, Claud March of Philadelphia, Richard March of Los Angeles and Hopeton March and Johnny March, both of Jamaica; four daughters, Michelle March of New York, Carol March Grant of Grand Cayman Islands, Datsy March of Jamaica and Peggy March of London; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Richard Moulyn Jr., 43, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 6, 1955, in California. A resident for 20 years, he was a maintenance employee at a restaurant.

He is survived by his parents, Phyllis and Richard C. Moulyn Sr. of Las Vegas; one brother, Joseph Moulyn of Kansas City, Mo.; and five sisters, Pamela Sheets of Albuquerque, N.M., Susan Spencer of Texas and Cynthia Zacher, Georgetta DeCelle and Jacqueline Griffin, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation was scheduled 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. services today in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, followed by a private burial.

Mary Nese, 74, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born March 7, 1924, in Jamaica, N.Y. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Harold; three daughters, Geraldine Conway of Westbury, N.Y., Carolyn Herlihy of Las Vegas and Alice Walsh of Huntington N.Y.; two sons, John Nese of Hicksville, N.Y., and Robert Nese of Naples, Fla.; and 12 grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled 2-4 p.m. today in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. A rosary is scheduled 7 p.m. today with 2 p.m. services Saturday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

ETHEL PARSON

Ethel Parson, 79, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 23, 1918, in Lincoln, Kan. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, George Ferrier of St. Augustine, Fla.; three daughters, Jan Davis of Minneapolis and Mary Koch and Jeanne Sedich, both of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

MELVILLE 'MEL' PATTERSON

Melville "Mel" Patterson, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 12, 1925, in Chicago. A resident for seven years, he was a retired mechanical engineer, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the Rotary Club.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene G.; two daughters, Donna Mirabelli of Las Vegas and Lynn Schabel of Kalispell, Mont.; four sons, James Patterson of Post Falls, Idaho, and Scott Patterson, Todd Patterson and Jay Patterson, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Dolores Hobbs of Harvard, Ill.; two brothers, Norbert Patterson of Harvard and Norman Patterson of Tinley Park, Ill.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday in the First Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

LYNNETTA "LANNI" J. PHELAN

Lynnetta "Lanni" J. Phelan, 57, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 2, 1941, in California. A resident for 24 years, she was an employee of the Las Vegas Water District, a volunteer for Nathan Adelson Hospice for 10 years and a member of the Tall Singles Club.

She is survived by one daughter, Lorraine Colon of Las Vegas; one son, Richard Judson of Clayhatchee, Ala.; two sisters, Virginia Sumner of Pahrump and Darlene Pittman of Wisconsin; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

John Albert Phillips, 61, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 3, 1937, in Globe, Ariz. A resident for 20 years, he was a jewelry salesman and a Korean War Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Ann; three daughters, Rebecca Kehring of Poulsbo, Wash., and Joyce Phillips and Marlena Ellefson, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Jon Allen Phillips and Christopher Phillips, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Joan Briggs of Port Orford, Ore., and Betty Horten of Globe; and 15 grandchildren.

Graveside services were scheduled at 8:30 am. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., handled arrangements.

DEOLA M. SMITH

Deola M. Smith, 86, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 27, 1911, in Newcastle, Texas. A resident for 55 years, she was a homemaker, a charter member of the Old Timers Club and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 357.

She is survived by two sons, Horace G. Smith Jr. and Jimmy Lee Smith, and one daughter, Peggy Krever, all of Las Vegas; seven brothers, Isom Briscoe, Buddy Briscoe, Roy Briscoe, Raymond Briscoe, Cecil Briscoe, Johnny Briscoe and Gilbert Briscoe, and three sisters, Olley Briscoe, Goldie Briscoe and Opal Briscoe, all of Texas; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Shadow Hills Baptist Church, 4400 W. Oakey Blvd. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Memory Gardens. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Lorena Snyder, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born March 31, 1917, in Brandenburg, Ky. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired dollmaker.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby; one daughter, Deborah Saylors of Vista, Calif.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Bruce Souder Sr., 63, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 13, 1934, in Sauderton, Pa. A resident for 10 years, he was a hotel houseman.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; two sons, Bruce Souder Jr. of Las Vegas and Gary Souder of Bitburg, Germany; one sister, Delores Davis of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; and four grandchildren.

Andres Velasquez, 60, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local health care center. He was born Jan. 23, 1938, in Socorro, N.M. A resident for three years, he was a building maintenance worker for the Garden Grove School District.

He is survived by his companion, Cathy Reinhardt of Henderson; two sons, Andrew Velasquez of Fontana, Calif., and Nathan Velasquez of Anaheim, Calif.; one sister, Martha Baca of Albuquerque, N.M.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He is survived by two daughters, Donette Speck of Pennsylvania and Nicole Walters of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
