UNLV Facilities Project — fast facts

Sam Boyd Stadium -- New grass field. Expanded capacity to 40,000 seats. New press box, luxury suites and club seating. New concessions, restrooms, concourse and entrances. Cost: $19 million.
Thomas & Mack Center -- New entry way with escalators. New scoreboard. Upholstered seats. Widened concourse with interactive "Fun Zones." Infrastructure improvements, including new sound system. Cost: $13 million.
Thomas & Mack Pavilion -- Three-story, 60,000 square-foot practice facility for UNLV men's and women's basketball and volleyball connecting to Thomas & Mack. New locker rooms. Three courts. 2,500 seats. 12,000 square-foot entry way to house UNLV Athletic Hall of Fame. Cost: $8 million.
Total cost for projects -- $40 million.
Scheduled completion date -- Fall 1999.
