Etta Erna Adolph-Thomas, 78, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born April 21, 1920, in Germany. A resident for 20 years, she was a restaurateur, a member of the Bridge Club and Senior Partners (Companions).
She is survived by one son, Rainier; and three grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
ANNA 'ANKA' ANDRADE
Anna "Anka" Andrade, 75, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born March 3, 1923, in Yugoslavia. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary Brodeur, Diane Hobbs and Vera Bojkic, and one son, Danny Bojkic, all of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
EVELYN H. BAPTISTE
Evelyn H. Baptiste, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday is Las Vegas. She was born April 14, 1914, in Atlanta. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired social worker for the city health department and a member of the Las Vegas chapter of AARP.
She is survived by her husband, Paul M.
A memorial service is scheduled 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
RALPH TALMADGE BRIGGS
Ralph Talmadge Briggs, 84, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 10, 1914, in Chicago. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired naval intelligence officer, a World War II and Korean War veteran, the editor of Shield, former president of the National Intelligence and Counter Intelligence Association, a member of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers and Navy Cryptologic Veterans Association.
He is survived by his wife, Marie C.; two daughters, Janet B. Strauss of Richmond, Va., and Lois Jean Briggs of Springfield, Va.; and one brother, Robert S. Briggs of Downers Grove, Ill.
Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
THEO ELLA BYRNS
Theo Ella Byrns, 88, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 28, 1910, in San Francisco. A resident for 32 years, she was a retired nurse at a health care center, a member of the UNLV Faculty Wives and the Stanford University Alumni Association.
She is survived by one daughter, Theo Anne Byrns of Las Vegas; and one son, Richard Byrns of Berlin.
A memorial service is scheduled 3 p.m. Sunday in Palm Morturary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
The family requests donations to the Theo Ella Byrns Nursing Scholarship Fund at the Community College of Southern Nevada, Fund 651-4319.
NICHOLAS CHRISTY
Nicholas Christy, 68, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 9, 1929, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 27 years, he was a retired draftsman for a telephone company and a Korean War veteran.
He is survived by three brothers, Peter Christy of Staten Island, N.Y., and Ted Christy and John, both of Clearwater, Fla.
Graveside services are scheduled 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Memorial Park-Northwest.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. is handling the arrangements.
SHERRIL CRAIG
Sherril Craig, 51, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 22, 1947, in Los Angeles. A resident for 41 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence H.; two daughters, Toshiana Craig and Tara Kaelin, and one son, Sean Andrew Craig, all of Las Vegas.

ANDREW E. DENNINGER
Andrew E. Denninger, 82, of Henderson died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 8, 1915, in Stone Lake, Wis. A resident for 17 years, he was a security officer.
He is survived by his wife, Mable; one son, Kenneth Denninger of Henderson; one daughter, Helen Rossel, two brothers, Calvin Denninger and Wolford Denninger, and four sisters, Loretta Coons, Lou Fielder, Lolly Actins and Lucy Ann Edwards, all of Minong, Wis.; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 6 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
MARGARET INA FORCIER
Margaret Ina Forcier, 91, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 9, 1906, in New Hampshire. A resident for 18 years, she was a song writer.
She is survived by one daughter, Carole Forcier of Las Vegas.

Jan C. Freivogel, 69, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local health care center. She was born Feb. 20, 1929, in California. A resident for 15 years, she was a Clark County School District payroll employee.
Graveside services will be 2:15 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
BETTY KAPLAN
Betty Kaplan, 74, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 16, 1924, in Philadelphia. A resident for one year, she was a bookkeeper for a retail company.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur.

Debra Kay Komor, 46, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born July 17, 1952, in Minnesota. A resident for 18 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by four brothers, Ken Bistrup, Dick Bistrup and Doug Bistrup, all of Minnesota, and Dwayne Bistrup of Colorado.
Burial will be in Minnesota. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
KENNETH JOSEPH LIPTON
Kenneth Joseph Lipton, 50, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born May 27, 1948, in New York. A resident for eight years, he co-owned a mortgage company.
He is survived by his wife, Brandy; one son, Trevor Baker; two daughters, Justine Lipton Copus and Jennifer Lipton; his father, Harold Lipton; one brother, Robert Lipton; one sister, Peggy Lipton-Jones; and one grandchild.

Lawrence Aubrey Owen, 81, of North Las Vegas died Monday in North Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 10, 1916, in Lethbridge, Alberta. A resident for 37 years, he was a retired security guard for the federal government and a World War II veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Dora Jean; three daughters, Verna Gage of Canada and Debra Thornton and Diane Huntsman, both of Las Vegas; two sons, John Owen of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and Larry Owen of Las Vegas; one brother, Don Owen of Canada; 33 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Eden Vale Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled arrangements.
CHARLOTTE NORINE REBBECK
Charlotte Norine Rebbeck, 66, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born June 1, 1932, in Santa Maria, Calif. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Antoinette Groff of North Las Vegas, Nanette Cohen of Northridge, Calif., and Diana Everist of La Grange, Calif.; five sons, Robert Rebbeck of Simi Valley, Calif., William Rebbeck of Reseda, Calif., Mark Rebbeck of Reno, Raymond Rebbeck of Valencia, Calif., and Wayne Rebbeck of Santa Monica, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Lester B. Savage, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born Jan. 20, 1912, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 18 years, he owned Midway Air Freight for 20 years and founded Midway Baseball Association, both in Chicago.
He is survived by two sons, Gary Savage of Las Vegas and John Savage of Chicago; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

MARGARET 'MARGE' SHARP
Margaret "Marge" Sharp, 74, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 12, 1923, in Bergenfield, N.J. A resident for eight years, she was a retired food service worker at a veterans hospital.
She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Judkins of Ventura, Calif., Margaret Hunnel of Henderson and Diane Dains of Pleasanton, Calif.; one sister, Helen Hugaboom of Bellerose, N.Y.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive.

Joseph Vinski, 86, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 23, 1912, in Hazelton, Pa. A resident for 21 years, he was a baker for Holsum Bakery.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine; one son, Robert F. Vinski, and one daughter, Verna A. Young, both of California; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

MICHAEL ANTHONY ZAPPANTI
Michael Anthony Zappanti, 34, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., died Saturday in Fort Lauderdale. He was born June 19, 1964, in Denver. A former Las Vegas resident for one year, he was a salvage diver and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his parents, Tony and Marietta Zappanti of Henderson; one sister, Tina Bauer of Escondido, Calif.; two brothers, Jerry Zappanti and Steven Zappanti, both of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Maryanne and Val Goebel of San Diego.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
