Valley High School senior Annie Schlosser took the lead after round one of the Nevada State Women's Amateur tournament at Paiute Golf Resort Monday. Schlosser shot a 75 (37-38) to post a one-shot lead over Reno's Debbie Young. Green Valley junior Mary Fernandez and Washoe's Christy Atencio are both two strokes back after firing 77s. The three-day event will conclude Wednesday.
