Lydia A. Almendralo, 83, of Las Vegas died Friday at a local care center. She was born April 15, 1915, in the Philippines. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Almendralo and Albert Almendralo, two daughters, Loida Cruzin and Remedios Franco, all of Las Vegas; and 10 grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Arrangements were handled by Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
CHARLOTTE BUME
Charlotte Bume, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 27, 1915, in Gary, Ind. She was a resident for 23 years.
She is survived by one son, Conrad J. O'Brien of New York City; one sister, Bernice Peracchio of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today at Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern, followed by burial at Paradise Memorial Gardens.
ROD "RORY" CRADIT III
Rod 'Rory' Cradit III, 14, of Las Vegas died Saturday. He was born Sept. 26, 1983, in Henderson. A lifelong resident of Southern Nevada, he was a ninth- grade student at Cimarron-Memorial High School, a member of the tennis team, jazz band and marching band.
He is survived by his mother, Tamara L. Hidalgo of Albuquerque, N.M.; his father, Roderick H. Cradit Jr. of Las Vegas; two sisters, Chelsi Cradit and Alexandra V. Hidalgo, both of Alburquerque; two brothers, Chase S. Cradit of Las Vegas and Gabriel E. Hidalgo of Albuquerque; his grandmothers, Shirley Davidson and Patricia Groesbeck, both of Las Vegas; his grandfathers, Rod Cradit Sr. of San Diego and Tad B. Leslie of Salt Lake City; and many aunts.
Services will be 5 p.m. today at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
The family requests donations to Boys Town USA, 6022 Smoke Ranch Road, Las Vegas, NV. 89108.
ALEXANDER DANIELIAN
Alexander Danielian, 80, of Las Vegas died Thursday at a local hospital. He was born Sept. 17, 1917, in Armenia. A resident for 48 years, he was a factory worker at Manville Corp. and a World War II veteran of the Soviet army.
He is survived by his wife, Archalous; and one son, Alexander Dro Danielian of Las Vegas.
Private arrangements were handled by American Burial & Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane.
DAVID F. DENARO
David F. Denaro, 56, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 8, 1942, in Concord, Mass. A resident for 41 years, he was a retired truck driver, a Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Gold Searchers of Southern Nevada.
He is survived by his companion, D'Ann Denaro; his father, Frank Denaro of Post Falls, Idaho; and two sisters, Jeanne Purdy of Las Vegas and Carolyn Fort of Arlington, Texas.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
DONALD ALLEN DODSON
Donald Allen Dodson, 63, of Las Vegas died Wednesday at a local hospital. He was born Aug. 20, 1935, in Pittsburgh. A resident for 35 years, he was a gaming instructor.
He is survived by five daughters, Sandra Hall and Tracy Beckman, both of Las Vegas, Terri Zaremba of San Diego and Rachel Dodson and Geneva Dodson, both of Rochester, N.Y.; two sons, Donald Dodson Jr. and Douglas Dodson, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Sally O'Malley of Chico, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Private arrangements were handled by American Burial & Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane.
LEE GROTH
Lee Groth, 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday at a local hospital. He was born May 14, 1932, in Nome, N.D. A resident for six years, he was a retired lithographer in the printing industry.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Anne; one daughter, Jamie Halverson of Phoenix; one son, Tim Groth of Roseville, Minn.; two sisters, Eleanor Schroeder of Fargo, N.D., and La Vaun Tventstup of Anchorage, Alaska.; one brother, Garry Groth of West Fargo; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 8901 Del Webb Blvd. Arrangements were handled by Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
GERTRUDE KENDALL
Gertrude Kendall, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 24, 1926, in Ohio. A resident for five years, she was a secretary for the federal government.
She is survived by her husband Douglas; and two sons, Leonard Kendall of Las Vegas and Fredrick Kendall of Carson, N.M.
Arrangements were handled by Hites Funeral Services, Inc., 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson.
JAMES A. KROUSCAS
James A. Krouscas, 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday at a local hospital. He was born March 14, 1934, in Fresno, Calif. A resident for two years, he was retired salesman in the trucking industry and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Bettencourt Krouscas; four sons, Michael Krouscas-Shay of Union City, Calif., Jerry Bettencourt of Beale Air Force Base, Calif., Joseph Bettencourt of Lake Tahoe and Jimmy Krouscas of Blacksburg, Va.; one daughter, Karen Krouscas of La Mirada, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Greek Assembly of God Church, Oakland, Calif. Arrangements were handled by Affordable Cremation & Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
CLARICE ETHEL LONG
Clarice Ethel Long, 67, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 21, 1930, in Texas. A resident for six months, she was a homemaker .
She is survived by her husband, Earl; and one son, Carson Long of New Mexico.
Burial will be at New Mexico Portales Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Hites Funeral Home, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson.
RHEA AMELIA MULVIHILL
Rhea Amelia Mulvihill, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday. She was born Dec. 5, 1911, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 42 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, John; two daughters, Paula Miller and Mary Keever, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Bill Grant of Ely; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the same location. Burial will follow at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
ARTHUR LEE WOOTON JR.
Arthur Lee Wonton Jr., 52, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born July 25, 1956, in Texas. A resident for 20 years, he was an attendant at a gas station and convenience store.
He is survived by two daughters, Michelle Wooten of Colorado and Jacqueline Wooten of Texas.
Burial will be at Tumey Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Arrangements were handled by Hites Funeral Home, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson.
