Letter: Not all like downtown plans
Saturday, Oct. 31, 1998 | 4:30 a.m.
I live in Chicago and travel to Las Vegas at least four to five times a year, and I read the Sun's newspaper online everyday. I just recently read an article on Neonopolis and redeveloping the downtown area.
I enjoy staying downtown when i come to Las Vegas because it is more laid back than the Strip and I can gamble, eat and relax without all the huge crowds of the larger casinos on the Strip.
If this Neonopolis is built, it will disappoint a lot of people like myself that enjoy the downtown area as it is.
