Burtress D. Ambrose, 77, of Las Vegas died Oct. 18 in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 31, 1921, in Chicago. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Norman Ambrose of Rockford, Ill.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Robert A. Clemens
Robert A. Clemens, 35, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 18, 1962, in Seattle. A resident for nine years, he was an air terminal shift supervisor and a Gulf War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Brian Clemens and David Clemens, and his mother, Jeanine Clemens, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Karen Jones of Portland, Ore.; and one brother, Ross Clemens of Avondale, Ariz.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
The family suggests donations to the American Brain Tumor Association, 2720 River Road, Suite 146, Des Plaines, IL 60018.
Joseph E. Daily
Joseph E. Daily, 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Boulder City. He was born Oct. 29, 1915, in Minden, Neb. A resident for 29 years, he was a retired hotel-casino bartender and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Joe Daily of Las Vegas and John Daily of Boulder City; one sister, Ruth Lusk of Minden; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Thora Fellhauer
Thora Fellhauer, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 16, 1922, in Ioka, Utah. A resident for 23 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Marylynn Dalton and Lane Fellhauer, and one son, Darrel Curtis Fellhauer, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Colleen Bowman of Trinity, Texas; three brothers, Orson Curtis of Summerfield, Fla., Archie Curtis of Hyrum, Utah, and Carlyle Curtis of Salt Lake City; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. services Friday in the Painted Desert LDS Ward Chapel. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the LDS Church History Center.
Pauline Beverly Jay
Pauline Beverly Jay, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Riverside, Calif. She was born Dec. 27, 1917, in Norfolk, Va. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Richard Jay of Riverside; and two grandchildren.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests contributions to a hospice of the donor's choice.
Fern Eleanor Kaercher
Fern Eleanor Kaercher, 87, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 12, 1911, in Gordon, Pa. A resident for 51 years, she was a retired registered nurse in at Southern Nevada Memorial Hospital and an Army veteran.
She is survived by two daughters, Judith Trotter of Las Vegas and Patricia Moore of Jacksonville, Fla.; one son, William "Allen" Kaercher of Las Vegas; four sisters, Rose Yost, Edna Labie and Grace Nameth, all of Pennsylvania, and Evelyn Irwin of New York state; one brother, Fred Fetterolf of Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Kingdom Hall, 1335 Mojave Road. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.
George Francis McAllister
George Francis McAllister, 81, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 14, 1917, in Albany, N.Y. A resident for five years, he was an auto mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; one son, Jerry McAllister of Norwalk, Calif.; one brother, Bobby McAllister of Troy, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was schedule at 2 p.m. today at the family residence, 5795 W. Flamingo Road, Building 11, No. 141. Burial will be private. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.
Jimmy Arthur Miller
Jimmy Arthur Miller, 50, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 13, 1947, in Los Angeles. A resident for 35 years, he was a businessman.
He is survived by his wife, Ana S.; one son, Rio James Miller of Las Vegas; and his mother, Shirley A. Miller of Indian Rocks Beach, Fla.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
James Brian Mullen
James Brian Mullen, 57, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 31, 1941, in Dublin, Ireland. A resident for six years, he was a hotel chef.
He is survived by two sons, Brian Mullen and Michael Mullen, and three daughters, Natalie Mullen, Caroline Mullen and Patricia Mullen, all of Minnesota; his mother, Ann Mullen; one brother, Michael Mullen of Dublin; three sisters, Pat O'Reilly of Dublin, Mave MacLua of Windsor, England, and Paula; and one grandchild.

Marvin Piller
Marvin Piller, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 9, 1926, in Minneapolis. A resident for 23 years, he was an owner-operator of a pest control service, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of JFW 711.
He is survived by his wife, Eva; one daughter, Janice Hyman of Diamond Bar, Calif.; two sons, Wayne Piller and Norrin Bank, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Betty Becker of Dallas; two brothers, Ron Piller of Los Angeles and David Piller of Pasadena, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Michael Anthony 'Iron Mike' Portelli
Michael Anthony "Iron Mike" Portelli, 43, of Las Vegas died Oct. 22 in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 27, 1954, in Long Beach, Calif. A resident for 32 years, he was an ornamental iron fabricator.
He is survived by three sons, Paul Portelli, Robert Portelli and Brian Portelli, all of Las Vegas; his mother, Dolores; one brother, Sam Portelli, and one sister, Monica Thomsen, both of Las Vegas.
Visitation was scheduled 1-2 p.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services followed in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Clyde Jenkins Trudeau
Clyde Jenkins Trudeau, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born July 18, 1918, in Green Bay, Wis. A resident for 18 years, he was a service manager for a Buick dealer, a Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by one son, Jerald Trudeau of Santiago, Chile; one daughter, Carol M. Hilpert; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Michael Williams
Michael Williams, 49, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 1, 1949, in California. A resident for 10 years, he was a carpenter's helper.
He is survived by his father, Fred Williams of Las Vegas; one brother, John Williams; and one sister, Diane Hall.
