Letter:Disability advocate appreciates article

As you may know, this important article was picked up off of the Internet by the nationally broadcast, NBC television show, "Leeza," and was the basis for the production of an entire episode dealing with civil commitment abuses in Nevada. This "Leeza" program, which originated from Nadler's work, aired nationally on Aug. 27.

Nadler's thoughtful, well-researched and well-written article, as well as your courage in publishing the piece, may very well prevent future abuses against Nevada's citizens. For that we are grateful.
