2ND RACE:

Sultry Substitute -- Returns to races with snappy works, pair of bullet drills from most recent four moves, close runner up with best career effort at this level mid-August in last, Alvarado returns for McAnally.

My Antonino -- Fourth from the rail at the fair in last when in need of a race, reclaimed by trainer Sadler before that, reunites with Solis now, better post here.

Value Play -- Deuce Court

3RD RACE:

Dobob -- Dueled between foes and gave way at higher level in last, won at this level before that, steady works since raced, reunites with Espinoza and back to competitive spot here.

Bryan's Magic -- Failed as the favorite from the rail while claimed at the fair in last, won prior pair of Del Mar outings at this level, Gomez takes over for new conventions, better post, a factor throughout.

Value Play -- Infrontof

4TH RACE:

Prado's Capote -- Fifth in overnight Anita grass stakes in last, won Derby Trial at Fairplex before that, in the quinella six of 11 starts this year, McCarron takes over.

Port Richey -- Third to top pick in Fairplex Derby Trial in last, along for third on Del Mar lawn before that, two for eight this year, Gomez stays.

Value Play -- Summer Prince

5TH RACE:

Kipper's Kitten -- Set pace and outfinished to fifth at Del Mar in last, second best in debut before that, drops to claimer now, Solis stays on beaten favorite.

Dinner Bell -- Drops to claimer after lacking response when fourth in last, dueled led and runner up before that, bullet drill since raced, reunites with Nakatani.

Value Play -- Candy And A Call

6TH RACE:

Cash Value -- In tight and no rally in last, four-wide and weakened before that, in the quinella in five prior starts with a trio of victories, Espinoza stays on Hess trainee, give another chance here.

Integrated Disc -- Three-deep bid and outkicked at the fair when second in last, broke maiden over the track in March, drops another level here, reunites with winning rider Douglas now.

Value Play -- Good Country Music

7TH RACE:

Riviera -- Huge victory down this hill in U.S. debut in last, maintenance work since raced, McCarron returns on Frankel trainee, has all the looks of a repeater.

Royal Prosper -- Rallied in driving finish to win down the hill in last, three for five on turf, one for one at Anita and two for two at this distance, Almeida again for trainer McAnally.

Value Play -- Bodyguard

8TH RACE:

Coy's Pic -- Game try when second by a neck at the fair in last, very wide debut trip at Del Mar before that, bullet Anita drill since raced, Pedroza back for graduation.

Extra Genius -- First-time starter by Beau Genuis, steady works, well placed, good post, Solid for debut.
