UNLV golf second in tourney

The fourth-ranked UNLV golf team shot a two-round total of 557 Monday to sit in second place at the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate tournament at Birmingham, Ala.
The Rebels (279-278--557) are six shots behind leader Clemson.
UNLV junior Jeremy Anderson shot a first-round 67 and followed that up with a second-round 65 to lead all individuals at 132, 10-under par.
