Letter: Humans should avoid presidency

Monday, Oct. 19, 1998 | 9:58 a.m.

If this horrible sex indiscretion is an impeachable offense, in the future it should be so stated when the next president is sworn in. He should be ordered, by law, to stay off Viagra, drugs and women.

If he is young, vigorous and exuberant, he should have 24 hours a day tight surveillance. This horrendous, unheard of crime, should make future candidates shudder.

Show me a man who will turn down an opportunity and I will show you either a sick man or a very tired man. I've never found one that kept their zipper locked because they had a conscience.

They aren't built that way. Human nature enters the picture. In essence, if you have any human instincts, steer clear of the presidency.
