Champion, Coleman, Del Webb, Kaufman and Broad, Lewis Homes and Pulte were added to the suit.
BTOP contends Willis Roofing failed to pay workers fully for "piece" work and charged workers for safety equipment. Willis Roofing denied the charges, saying it charges employees a refundable deposit for the safety equipment and that it pays workers based on a square footage formula that resulted from a settlement with the federal government in 1996.
Attempts to contact Del Webb and Pulte officials for comment failed. The remaining companies were not aware of the suit and had no comment.
