Letter: Negative ads serve no purpose

Because many voters are really turned off by this negative approach, this law could eliminate the expensive need to correct the negative info as is currently being reflected on television.
More energy and money should be spent solely by the candidates touting their own personal abilities, accomplishments and goals.
This law could also help to cut down on campaign spending.
"Negativity" really serves no constructive purpose.
