Letter: No denying sex relationship
Tuesday, Oct. 13, 1998 | 11:39 a.m.
Did she hold a gun to President Clinton's head? Did this small, albeit chubby woman overpower our 6-foot-plus president? Did she somehow disable the Secret Service agents assigned to protect the man? And for the record Yabut, a woman who is being raped does not "just relax and enjoy it." You insult rape victims everywhere by making such an asinine statement.
During his first campaign for president, Clinton said he never had an affair with Gennifer Flowers. He later admitted he did have an affair with Flowers. Clinton said he was never drafted. When his advisors found out he had indeed been drafted and used political influence to receive a deferral, those advisers were instructed to say that Clinton "forgot" about it.
The same man who claims such an extraordinary memory forgot he was drafted? In listening to the videotapes of Clinton's testimony, he would have us believe that because he was not, at the moment of being asked, having sexual relations with Monica Lewinsky, that he was truthful in his denial.
I submit for your consideration, if Clinton did not seek nor desire the sexual act performed on him, why didn't he stop it the first time? Why invite Lewinsky back for encore performances?
Multiple consensual sexual encounters between the same two people do constitute a sexual relationship -- by anyone's definition.
