Letter: Most people don’t care about adultery
Tuesday, Oct. 13, 1998 | 11:41 a.m.
No one in this world is perfect. I don't think we need another scandal to embarrass our country and lower the morals of our people. Whether we like it or not, they do represent our country. A great deal of people cheat on their spouses, and it is no one else's business but their own.
I understand that it is wrong to use your position as the president or a congressman to get women. But women are not little angels, either. I'm not defending his actions, but she could have said no. This situation has gotten out of hand.
Whether he deserved the media humiliation or not, Clinton has done a good job. Now you want to bring a similar situation into the public eye, and bring yet another embarrassment to the people of our country. You have no shame. I wish this whole thing would stop.
It's making me sick. All these reports and tapes, and fat, ugly, psychotic women. When will it all stop? Except I know that as long as people like you keep writing these things people are going to care, and so it will never stop.
