Brief: Gaming spinoff named

Goldberg, president of Hilton's gaming division, believes the name would honor the contributions Bally's Park Place hotel-casino in Atlantic City made to Bally Entertainment Corp. before that company was acquired by Hilton.
"It really made the company, so I see no reason not to give it credit," Goldberg told The Press of Atlantic City.
Hilton plans to split into separate gaming and lodging companies if shareholders approve the acquisition of Grand Casinos Inc. In Las Vegas, Hilton has three big hotel-casinos and is building a fourth.
