Eva Arbogast, 65, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born April 3, 1933, in Tennessee. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by one son, John Arbogast.
She is survived by her husband, John; two sons, Kirk Arbogast of Las Vegas and Chris Arbogast of Troy, Ill.; two daughters, Laura Patyk of Loston, Ill., and Colleen Daum of Jacksonville, Ill.; and one sister, Estelle Mullenix of Trenton, Ill.
Burial will be in Illinois. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Harlan Arnold
Harlan Arnold, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born April 21, 1925, in Grand Rapids, Mich. A resident for 6 1/2 years, he was a retired attorney, Nevada Supreme Court settlement judge, Clark County arbitrator, member of Sun City Art Club and on the board of Temple Bet Emet.
He is survived by his wife, Sue; one son, Alan Arnold of Las Vegas; two daughters, Deena Shiode of Las Vegas and Pam Adler of Los Angeles; two stepsons, James Goldin of Agoura Hills, Calif., and Charles Goldin of Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Gayle Goldin of Los Angeles; two brothers, Murray Arnold of Desert Springs, Calif., and Harvey Arnold of Cleveland; two sisters, Sally Elrad of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Ellen Reynolds of Cleveland; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will be private.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119, USC Norris Cancer Center, 1441 Eastlake Ave., Room 800, Los Angeles, CA 90033, or the Candlelighters for Childhood Cancer, 3201 S. Maryland Parkway, Suite 512, Las Vegas, NV 89109.
Elaine L. Ayala
Elaine L. Ayala, 39, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 8, 1958, in California.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Mullenix, her parents, Ronald and Romelia Ayala, and one brother, Ronald Ayala, all of Fremont, Calif.; one sister, Diane Morales of Antioch, Calif.; and one granddaughter.
Burial will be in California. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Dexter A. Boice
Dexter A. Boice, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born July 24, 1929, in Milford, Mich. A resident for 15 years, he was a supervisor of a heavy equipment crew and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores Leserra; two daughters, Donna Jones of Las Vegas and Dawn Thurston of Colorado; one son, Michael Leserra of West Jefferson, N.C.; and nine grandchildren.
Private services were arranged by Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Claudine Brumback
Claudine Brumback, 3 1/2 months, died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born June 17, 1998, in Las Vegas.
She is survived by her parents, Henry and Cheryl Brumback, two brothers, Steven Brumback and Jozef Brumback, and her grandparents, Charles and Hazel Brumback and Al and Linda Bruzas, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests book donations to any of the Clark County libraries.
Manuel Herrera Duran
Manuel Herrera Duran, 63, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 20, 1935, in Mexico. A resident for eight years, he was a retired clerk for the federal power commission in Mexico.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa; nine children, Martina, Carlos, Miriam, Adrian, Manuel, Fernando, Cesar, Jennifer and Erika; and two sisters, Elena and Engracia; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pantalion R. Erevia
Pantalion R. Erevia, 71, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born July 27, 1927, in Sinton, Texas. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant and World War II veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Olaya V.; two daughters, Gloria Jannen and Mary Horton, and one son, Patrick Erevia, all of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Betty Smithey Harbin
Betty Smithey Harbin, 63, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 8, 1934, in Alabama. A resident for 28 years, she was a casino cashier.
She is survived by her husband, James W.; one son, Richard Harbin of Las Vegas; two daughters, Sheri Reinold of Las Vegas and Melvin Harbin of California; one brother, Norman Smithey of Tennessee; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Palma Henderson
Palma Henderson, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 25, 1918, in New Kensington, Pa. A resident for 26 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, David Sr.; one daughter, Sandy Hornsby, one son, David Henderson Jr., and one brother, Frank Yockmen, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Rose Remich and Mary Pagliari, both of Arnold, Pa., and Virginia Leap of Lower Burrell, Pa.; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Tuesday in Christ the King Catholic Church. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Helen A. Hetzel
Helen A. Hetzel, 91, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 3, 1907, in New York. A resident for 49 years, she was a beautician.
She is survived by one son, Richard Rice of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Victor Hicks
Victor Hicks, 24, of Las Vegas died Sunday. He was born Oct. 27, 1973, in Fairbanks, Alaska. A resident for nine years, he was a security guard.
He is survived by his wife, Veronica Elena; two daughters, Alyssa Marie Hicks and Yessenia Celeste Hicks, both of Las Vegas; his parents, John and Darlene Pekarek, and one sister, Melissa Pekarek, all of Henderson; and his grandparents, Norm and Alice Phillips of Fairbanks and William and June Pekarek of Plant City, Fla.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Dale Huntsman
Dale Huntsman, 63, of Las Vegas died Sept. 26 in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 25, 1934, in Farmington, N.M. A resident for five years, he was an electrician and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by five sons, Rick Huntsman, Dave Huntsman, Randy Huntsman, Clint Huntsman and Dennis Huntsman; his mother, Estell Blumfield; and five grandchildren.

Carl Michael Lane
Carl Michael Lane, 53, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 23, 1944, in Philadelphia. A resident for 25 years, he was an aviation supervisor, an Air Force senior master sergeant and Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Hsiu-Feng; one son, Michael Lane, and his mother, Beatrice Templin, both of Las Vegas; his father, Carlos Lane of Moultrie, Ga.; two sisters; and one grandchild.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
David Justice LeFlore
David Justice LeFlore, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 1, 1924, in Arkansas. A resident for eight years, he was a maintenance worker for the water and power company.
He is survived by his wife, Hyrian; one son, David LeFlore, and one daughter, Sherril LeFlore, both of Dallas; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. memorial service Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Jesus Martinez
Jesus Martinez, 68, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born March 12, 1930, in Mexico. A resident for 28 years, he was a landscaper.
He is survived by four daughters, Enedelia, Eva, Teresa and Argelica; four sons, Juan Martinez, Alfredo Martinez, Octavio Martinez and Jesus Martinez, and one brother, Pablo Martinez, all of Las Vegas; and 14 grandchildren.

Walter James Olson Jr.
Walter James Olson Jr., 71, of Las Vegas died Sept. 27 in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 11, 1927, in Bristol, S.D. A resident for 38 years, he was a timekeeper for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by three sisters, Mary Ellen Wallen of Arkansas, Roumelle Kellner of Florida and Julaine Kusler of Akron, Iowa; and eight nieces and nephews.

Anna T. Pannullo
Anna T. Pannullo, 81, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. She was born Feb. 5, 1917, in New York City. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Patty Wheeler and Nancy Pannullo, both of Henderson; five sons, Thomas Pannullo of New York, Frederick Pannullo of Naples, Fla., Joseph T. Pannullo and Michael Pannullo, both of Henderson, and Carmine Pannullo of Las Vegas; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
Earlene Mavis Parsons
Earlene Mavis Parsons, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 31, 1925, in Goodland, Kan. A resident for one year, she was a registered nurse.
She is survived by her husband, Otis S.; three daughters, Joann Samuels of Payson, Ariz., Dona Baldwin of Reserve, Minn., and Joyce Oives of Eureka, Calif.; one son, James Parsons of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9-11 a.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Wiley J. Porterfield
Wiley J. Porterfield, 71, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Jan. 11, 1927, in Flomaton, Ala. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired gaming manager.
He is survived by his wife, Frances; one son, Mark Porterfield of Henderson; one sister, Peggy Horton of Clearwater, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-5 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Darlene Mae Stevens, 61, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 23, 1936, in Missouri. A resident for 16 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her father, Thomas Boulware of Fallon; her mother, Helen Metzger, and two brothers, Bradley Boulware and Greg Metzger, all of California; and one daughter, Veneta Lepera of Henderson.

Hal 'Bubba' Stewart
Hal "Bubba" Stewart, 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born July 13, 1916, in El Paso, Texas. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired sales manager for an electronics company, a World War II Army veteran, a volunteer for Child Seekers of Las Vegas and University Medical Center and a member of the Overton Senior Center Program.
He is survived by one sister, Marcia Stewart of Las Vegas; one daughter, Connie Grable Stewart of Sedro-Woolley, Wash.; and one grandchild.

Murell Lee Walker
Murell Lee Walker, 70, of Henderson died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 11, 1928, in Grand Tower, Ill. A resident for four years, he was a retired railroad lineman for Great Northern Railroad, a World War II Army and Navy veteran and a member of the Masonic Blue Lodge of Dearborn, Mich.
He is survived by his wife, Frances V.; three sons, Murell L. Walker Jr. of Oak Harbor, Wash., Robert A. Walker of Phoenix and Timothy C. Walker of Sebastian, Fla.; three daughters, Lynda A. Walker of Henderson, Karen M. Jackson of Las Vegas and Pamela F. House of Rialto, Calif.; two brothers, Carl A. Walker of Lewisville, Texas, and Alonzo E. Walker of Detroit; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Joseph C. Westerfield
Joseph C. Westerfield, 79, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospice. He was born Sept. 17, 1919, in Globe, Ariz. A resident for one year and a former resident of Owensboro, Ky., for 53 years, he was an executive manager for Green River Steel Corp. for 30 years, an employee at the L&N Railroad, DC Trucking, A&H Truck Line, was a World War II Navy veteran, testified for the U.S. Supreme Court for establishment and validation for interstate transportation rates, past president of the Owensboro Transportation Club and the Green River Steel Management Club, a member of Windridge Country Club and Owensboro Lodge 130 F&AM and on the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.
He is survived by his wife, Anna M.; and one daughter, Janice Hatcher of Henderson; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-1 p.m Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
