Letter: Starr should be under indictment

Thursday, Oct. 8, 1998 | 10:20 a.m.

People in Las Vegas have been indicted for less than this. Starr tried to find something to convict the president for, he couldn't, so he's trying to embarrass him to death, and Congress is no better. I would like to see how many interns are in their closet.

The only difference between them and the president is that the president got caught. This report just proves one thing: Americans like to read any dirt that is printed, and the kinkier the better.

They say shame but good, good; keep it coming. I know one thing, after this report, with all Starr's fine details, I wouldn't want to live in Starr's neighborhood.

I would be afraid for my children; he's a dirty old man. At least the president picked on a woman. She isn't a kid, like Congress is trying to make out.

If any man could be indicted as a traitor, it should be Starr. He didn't care what happened to the United States, just as long as he is right. He's right up there with Benedict Arnold.
