Kirk Arbogast, who heads Las Vegas-based 1-800-INFO-USA, said the system provides information and direct connections to callers of the toll-free number.
Operated through MCI and sponsored by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, the service is being advertised in newspapers in Las Vegas feeder markets and Arbogast said once the system reaches its capacity of 1,000 connection points, he will expand the service to other tourism markets.
